Actually it feels a bit short! Tmk a 1:35 brachi should be a similar size to or even taller than Argent.

Brachiosaurus is estimated as considerably smaller than the Argentinosaurus.

Size estimates from the Eofauna sauropod book are as follows:
Brachiosaurus altithorax: 24.5 meters (70 cm in 1:35 scale)
Argentinosaurus huiculensis: 35 meters (100 cm in 1:35)
Alamosaurus sanjuanensis: 26 meters (74 cm in 1:35)

These are as always the length through the centra. So it will depend on the neck angle how tall or long each animal will appear.

However, with 60 cm horizontal length and 48 cm height, the Haolonggood Brachiosaurus appears to be fairly large.

Return of huayangosaurus as another preorder.

I believe that the quoted height of 48 cm is not correct. The Argentinosaurus is 50 cm high, and the Brachiosaurus is considerably smaller.

I do hope the hight is incorrect then.
Although the W-Dragon Giraffatitan is 43 cm high, if Brachiosaurus is supposed to be bigger, maybe 48 cm is ok ?
Then again it's not as vertical as the Giraffatitan, so such a height might still be too much.

What are these ugly teeth btw ?

If the figure is indeed like that, I might keep my W-Dragon Giraffatitan after all and skip this Brachiosaurus.

The head sculpt of the Haolonggood Brachiosaurus reminds me very much of this one (Sumero studio resin model):

The teeth seem OK size wise at least.

I made a very quick and very rough estimate of the length through the centra. This comes out somewhere near 85 cm. So this would represent in 1:35 scale an approximately 29 to 30 meter long individual. This happens to be the length through the centra estimate of Sauroposeidon.

Of course I hope that it will be in 1:35. But even if it won't I am going to buy it. A Brachiosaurus in a modern reconstruction is something I wanted when I returned to this Hobby nearly 10 years ago.

I think I prefer the blue-grey-mosaic one over the green, which I prefer over red-yellow. But the decision is a though one.

I once said it, but now I think I can end this Hobby for me. Of course...ceratopsians will always be a temptation to me, but I have the feeling that I have to find an end for collecting models and figures. Now I have the will to end it.

A Brachiosaurus will be my perfect end. It will be a piece of heart as it is and was with my beloved Invicta one.

Looks like the Brachio will probably be a 'no' for me. At 48 cm, it will be a bit big for my space considerations, and I have a suspicion (unless it's been mentioned earlier; hard to keep up with the deluge of posts) the price point will be similar to the Argentinosaurus.

All three brach variants are beautiful, it will be another tough choice indeed. That said, it's a little bigger than I anticipated, and I'm yet to even get the Argentinosaurus! I guess I wouldn't have been too upset if they saved this release for the holiday season this year  :o

Definitely going to get the Brachiosaurus. It'll round out my Morrison Formation display very nicely. Now the only problem is which colour scheme to choose – they all look so nice...
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

I estimated close to 82 cm and 29 meter as well.

It looks bulky but if it has less bulkier proportions than a Brachiosaurus that size  we can use it as Sauroposeidon , i guess.

I consider my rebor is diplodocus hallorum for same reason.

Compare their sizes with Argentinosaurus, Mamenchisaurus & Alamosaurus...what do you do think? I have some doubts about 48×60 cm size.

JimoAi

I sincerely hope the 48x60 is the package size not the model size

I really don't know, I'm disappointed by many aspect of this figure:

Too big
No lips ? Really ?
Not same neck orientation as the other HLG sauropods, so can't display as nicely with them, or else head will not be as visible.
Color scheme is ok, but not a single natural one as a tribute to JP1.

I wait to see more, but I might skip it and keep my W-Dragon Giraffatitan and just wait for a more definitive version of the Brachiosaurus.

One aspect I appreciate though is the care to add a bump at the top of the tail that was absent from the Argentinosaurus.
(But only IF it it is known that Brachiosaurus had it for sure).

HLG Brachiosaurus is approximately same height as HLG Alamosaurus
