If you really want to collect it, it's best to book the first batch, which has a special blood effect giveaway ;)

More videos/more content.  People have shorter attention spans so he does shorter vids too.

I am wanting the Spino 2.0 but saw the new W Dragon Spino which looks so good so debating which one as W Dragon is double the price or triple!

W-D's Spinosaurus is expected to ship in the third quarter of this year, and I estimate that it will be delayed a little, maybe at the turn of the third or fourth quarter, and save some money every month, haha ;)
I think it's going to surpass the W-D prop Spinosaurus...... The prototype artist said on X that it was his dream moment :P

Ah, Nanmu's Spinosaurus 2.0 surpasses 1.0 in modeling and painting, and it's not so easy to go out of print, you can have it and W-D at the same time, one is a GK statue, the other is a PVC model, throw away the tangled, haha ;D

Yeah. My main concern with paying over £200 for the new W Dragon is that is it really worth that much as its not on the same level as something like the Prime 1 in similar size.

I personnaly find it better than the Prime 1, sculpt wise and paint wise.
It's only smaller.
But I'm not impressed with the P1, I don't know why people have it in such high esteem, I find it overtextured, and the paint isn't as complex as the new W-D.

BUT only if that WD final product is as good as the prototype !
That is not a given !

No one company has nailed the Spinosaurus perfectly. That's the honest truth, each one has some issue or problem. Makes the best you'll get a 4/5.  The big P1 is a great , huge , piece, could use a bit better paint and I just don't care for the down turned tail. The smaller P1 is in a nice pose shows off the creature's size well. It does have stronger texture, but then the SWS animatronic was pretty textured too.  My best advice is buy what appeals to you.  Unless your buying for value or some other reason.  Any WDragon I've bought I've sold for what I had in it or a bit more.  I'm hoping ECC eventually makes one that will be the best/top tier piece. Granted that one will be be pricey.

Yeah we wont know if the final product will be same as prototype.
Prototypes always look the best and actual products will at most be 80% close if lucky lol

WDragon usually does pretty well though I admit.  I have their Godzilla pieces and most of that community agrees they are better than some of the guys who have been making them for years.

I received my raptors earlier today and I'm pretty well blown away by them. I really liked the JP3 smart series raptors, just wished they could stand on their own. But these two are a major improvement over them. In hand they are even more beautiful than photos can convey.
I'm having trouble uploading my pictures here, so I'm just going to link to a post I shared some pictures of them on Reddit, hopefully that's not against any rules.

I would like to make three objective points here for reference:
(1) After this new Spinosaurus, W-D may not release a new movie Spinosaurus for many years
(2) W-D's model painting work has improved a lot in the past few years, and I'm sure it's better than that CG Spinosaurus
(3) This Spinosaurus is limited to 700 pieces, and it is likely to usher in a price increase after all of them enter the market, just like the previous CG Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus

I might have over exagerated, I watched some videos and the P1 is still good, especially the sculpt, still not fan of the texture, but the head and neck are nice, compare to the W-Dragon that will be more stocky for sure.
Still the W-Dragon won't have to blush.

What do people think of the Pharaoh variant of the 2.0?
Love the base but its not movie accurate colour but the pose is great.

Jorgesaurus

I feel that what is missing in the Nanmu spinosaurus is that they have a very short tail and the body is very thin, in the movie it is not so thin

I love the Pharaoh version so much. It's my only Nanmu figure where I have 2 of the same model but I'm different colors (I have the 2.0 JP3 spino). The color scheme is really cool and unique, and I personally love the green eyes. The base is awesome and I have my JP3 spino standing on it.

Depends on your reference. The cg/animated one is slimmer than the animatronic.

Came across this review of the Smart Series Raptors. Watch out for quality control issues such as in the paint work or misaligned jaws as a commenter got.

But nonetheless, stellar, stunning figures from Nanmu.

I have seen some with the toes swapped too, weirdly.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Received mine today. I'm going with a 4/5 score?  The feet on both of mine were backwards and I couldn't for the life of me get them all out to switch them. Even with pliers.  Paint and sculpt is fantastic. Much sturdier than the JP3 Raptors.  They don't seem to need the stands and I can't figure out the best way to even utilize the stands anyway.  The attacking hands are a neat addition but the legs don't flex enough to get really get a perfect leaping pose or crouching one. The attacking hands are also pretty much not flexible , maybe due to paint gluing them in place? They easily beat the old Amber Collection in looks but not sadly in posing ability.  I may order a second set to have a larger pack display.
