Sad that the real feel Carnotaurus never made it here...

Is that figure a Target exclusive?

Faelrin

Glad to see a review on these. Didn't expect these out so soon.

For anyone not wanting to watch the video, A is Avaceratops, B is Velociraptor, C is Dracorex. Coloration change is a one time thing only. Once you do it, you can't undo it, so uh be careful about getting these wet like gremlins lol if you want to keep the bone look. Kind of hope whatever material that is dissolving in the water is environmentally safe too (or at least can be filtered and processed out from whatever water treatment facilities do), other then the microplastics which are unfortunately inevitable in like everything that isn't biodegradable these days (unless modern water treatment facilities have made some progress on filtering those out, but in any case the less the better). In fact I wouldn't be surprised if my mental health, general memory, etc isn't just terrible because of the lack of vit D, stress, chronic depression, and long covid, but also all the microplastics crossing the blood brain barrier. Sorry for the tangent, but it got me thinking anyways.

This may not come as any surprise but according to a Reddit board, the Mattel Titanosaurus is going to be the biggest one they've made.  So i'm guessing 6 feet.  Mind you the tail of the figure looks mighty long for a titanosaur, which normally had shortish to medium length tails.

Long tails are an easy way to make a figure sound longer without having to add much bulk.  I have no doubt it will be noticeably bigger than the Dreadnoughtus, however.

There were some sizes posted in the Brazilian? Toy catalog as I recall.  I measured it and it was just a little shorter than the Dreadnoghtus. It maybe however be taller.

The more I look at the Titanosaur the more I'm... well, I'm not sure disappointed is the right word, perhaps confused is?

Like, it seems to lack the ball joint head articulation that later sauropods like Mamenchi and Apato had, and it doesn't seem to have any way to give the neck a bit more articulation like how Dreadnoughtus has the neck joint that can be moved side-to-side?

IDK. It kind of feels like a step back, and with the way the fins just pop out of the body, it definitely feels like a downgrade after Diplodocus. I'm going to wait to see in-hand photos, but I feel I can skip this guy. Not as if that is a bad thing, frankly. This line is just so bloody extensive at this point.

It looks based on the brachiosaurus figure which had little articulation. Maybe this one will be sold at Amazon and or other retailers besides Target?  So they scaled back some features.  It could also be an unfinished prototype image.

I'm sorta curious if we could, at some point , get a Super Colossal Brachiosaurus?  I never thought we would get an SC Mosa either. Would be cool to have a really huge one.

The picture looks more like an illustration than a prototype figure to me.  We need to wait for more info.

If it's an illustration it's a good one. I can see the mold lines on the legs even.

Really enjoying the look of the new Rebirth toys! Excited for what Hammond Collection figures may come from the new film! I've decided to wait for that new Rebirth Spinosaurus model to get a HC release, and will probably skip over any new releases of the old certified monstrosity model of the JPIII Spino. Even though I enjoy that movie, it's just cool to know there is a much more accurate Spino portrayed in the franchise now, and I can't justify owning both when one is clearly supposed to be more of an Ingen monster.

On another note, I came across Hypsilophodon and Guemesia in the store! Very cool figures. It feels like the sculptor and their team did the tiniest research on Hypsilophodon, read 'high-crested tooth', and thought, "high crested? Hold my beer. What about SUPER high crested?!"  :))  :))

A wacky take on this animal, but I like it!

Faelrin

Hypsilophodon is available on BBTS (in stock), on its own now (like its wave mate Guemesia):

Guemesia has only one left in stock btw:

Collect Jurassic dropped a bunch of new images. A new raptor sculpt, some mini playsets, a toy of Aquilops in the style of the Primal Blue, and roleplaying items.

I'd add the rest but the 2025 checklist on their site is asking for a password oddly. So maybe still being updated atm.

Aquilops kind of looks like the Wild Past Protoceratops, and the mini playsets are like the classic TLW Matchbox ones.

I dig the new raptor sculpt, other then the huge feet. No hideous JW styled teeth too like on the render. Hope that bodes well for the final film design.

Love the new raptor sculpt, and those mini playsets are pretty cool. Roleplay stuff is whatever

Flaffy

The new raptor looks nice. I'll wait for a standalone or HC release though most likely. Don't really care for the vehicles.

I like the raptor, but hoping for a standalone release, don't have space for vehicles.
