In case anyone overlooked it, a new paper is online regarding the titanosaur fauna from Hateg Island, Romania:
https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/14772019.2024.2441516

For those familiar with Cretaceous sauropods, the results of this paper shouldn't come as a surprise because a number of conference abstracts from the 2004 to 2010 timeframe hinted that more than one taxon is present among the material assigned to Magyarosaurus by Friedrich von Huene in a 1932 tome regarding Saurischia. The description of Paludititan in a paper published in 2010 confirmed rumblings about more than one titanosaur taxon occurring in the Hateg Island region, and the erection of Petrustitan for Magyarosaurus hungaricus validated von Huene's reservations about his assignment of hungaricus to Magyarosaurus.
