Hi everybody,
This is my introductory post, so I'll start by giving a short story about who I am.
My name is Simone, and I am from Italy; like all children, I have always had a great passion for dinosaurs, even if mine was a bit "extreme".
In addition to the usual children's books, my house was full of dinosaur encyclopedias, not that I understood much of what was written in them at the time. ::D I also had (and still have) a fossil collection.
When I discovered Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis at a friend's house I immediately fell in love with it, but we didn't have a PC at the time so I had to create my own park in notebooks, tracing the silhouettes of the dinosaurs, and imagining possible biomes for their enclosures.
Unfortunately, with age this passion has faded, and I have not pursued my dream of becoming a paleontologist.

Coming to more current days, a great interest of mine is modelling, which started with Warhammer 40k and 1/35 scale military modelling.
I am also the happy owner of two 3D printers, one resin and one filament.

This is what gave me a bit of a turning point and why I am now on this forum; in fact, I discovered by pure chance some artists who deal with selling STL files and this made my passion rekindle.

I am currently subscribed to Miniature Museum's MyMiniFactory and VFB Paleoart's Patreon, of which I am a fellow countryman.

I print everything in 1/35, my OCD can't allow me to print in any different scale, and my collection at the moment is:
- Liopleurodon ferox
- Daspletosaurus torosus
- Cameroceras trentonense
- Stegodon ganesha
- Arsinoitherium zitteli
- Avaceratops lammersi
- Ekrixinatosaurus novasi
- Mammuthus columbi

I know, it can sound big...but I still have to paint everything.. ::D  ::D  :||

Sure! As soon as I'll put the primer on it, I'll post some pics, for the finail version, I guess you'll have to wait. ::D

Btw, the Liopleurodon is the only one model from a different artist; who is Dino and Dog! It's a free model.

Ok, I have a question! Where should I post my printed dinos? Even WIP of them...there is a right topic for it?

Hmm, that could fit equally well on a number of boards, it depends what your focus is, but the Dino Art board https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?board=9.0 might be the best fit.
