Sad to see penta, dilo, cryo will go. I hope these will comeback in the future.
Nobody will miss concavenator.
I hope this means the conca will be made by mr seo!
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Conan, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!

Quiversaurus

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but since we're on the topic, do we know a ballpark scale for the Papo Dilophosaurus?

SpartanSquat

No news regarding the release of sucho? Sucho for me is a 2025 figure at this point.

I'm not holding my breath on any of those, but particularly the rex.

Latest information I can find is from everything dinosaur blog post published on January 31st: https://blog.everythingdinosaur.com/blog/_archives/2025/01/31/news-of-papo-dinosaur-model-retirements-for-2025.html

"New Papo models are due into stock at Everything Dinosaur shortly.  For example, the Corythosaurus and the eagerly awaited Suchomimus models should be in stock in a few weeks."

Edit: And we have Corythosaurus unboxing video ( German language) : https://youtu.be/8EZ4FL15crQ?si=UOVQI1TQBP49ml0d

Hopefully, the Sucho will be in stock very soon now that Cory is here.

Everything Dinosaur stated on their Instagram that the Suchomimus is due in late May

Dont know why papo announced sucho for 2024. I hope this wont happen to the new ones from 2025.

Considering the Rex and Anhanguera weren't even shown at Toy Fair this year, I would not expect them until 2026 the earliest. Hopefully we will see the Edmontosaurus and Yangchuanosaurus before then but who knows...

I find it weird that Papo is doing things this way.

I've long since conditioned myself to be disappointed, one way or another with them. A shame. No wonder PNSO and HLG have come to dominate the market.

Agreed 100%! But sucho got a render and we finally saw it months later in conventions and toy fairs.
Probably the scenario happened in 2022 when everythingdinosaurs mentioned krono and mosa would be released in 2022. Mosa only popped and krono dissappeared. Then these 2 were moved to 2023. Maybe papo is trying to see a new way of reveals like most western companies in this new decade like safari?
TBH, not a fan of these reveals. Papo along with collecta were the old ones who revealed all in the end of the year to release next year. PNSO and HLGD reveals are not a problems for me, they started doing this and I dont mind. But I prefferd the classic.
Lets hope edmonto and yangchuano will arrive this year. According to spielzeug-guenstig, these 2 will be release in september. Both has prizes, sucho doesnt have it yet! The same for anhaguera or feathered rex. Maybe seeing if a figure has a prize, we can see a clearly release date.

They might be having issues we don't know about. I never see any stores carrying their products here. It's always Safari or Schleich.

Papo is nearly impossible to find in stores in the US. I work at a Toy Store and we frequently order Safari & Schleich. Papo we order occasionally but they are more expensive than the former two (which in my opinion Papo is better quality than especially Schleich, but most customers are kids not collectors). We ordered Papo this year and they only shipped us 2/3 of the order. Only about 4 of the 18 new products I ordered actually arrived (despite everything but the Suchomimus) being released before 2025. They cancel backorders in the new year so we didn't even get the new items except for the 4. They must be having production issues on their end or something.

That's quite interesting. I can't speak for anywhere else, but here in Scotland it is exclusively Schleich and Papo you see in stores. They're both super common. No Safari or CollectA at all. I import a lot of my non-dinosaur Safari LTD and CollectA figures from Spain.

This is v interesting. Thanks for the insight. I wonder if it's due to trade restrictions (Papo is French / Europe, vs US vs China?), what with all the wars going on now.

I think it's been going on for a while. MiniZoo in Australia pretty much didn't even list anything after 2023. They just announced it would be coming back, this month!

Here in Canada Papo used to be quite common, but it's also pretty much disappeared in the last couple years

About the same here in France (which makes sense since it's a French company) tho it's far more common to see Schleich than Papo at toy stores (only one store in my city sells Papo dinosaurs). Sarari LTD figures can be found on online stores like Amazon or rarely in museum shops.
