Hey everyone!

I had a question about Cryolophosaurus.

In most recent ( like the Safari figure or in Jurassic World Evolution, even Dinosaur Revolution) depictions they seem very Dilophosaurus-esque in build, which makes intuitive sense.

Yet some other depictions still show it fairly bulky, including some mounts online.

My question is, which is more accurate? I can't really get a straight answer online and keep finding conflicting sources- though none academic, mind you.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I think that the known specimen is pretty lithe, which gives us similarly lithe reconstructions. But it's also thought to be a subadult, which means it might have matured into a more robust adult, and that's where the bulkier depictions come from.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Halichoeres, thank you for the information! I had no idea it was a subadult, this makes perfect sense.

P.S. I love your collection thread, I check it out pretty often!
