Got both the TLW and JP raptors. Great sculpt and paint job, but mine have their feet on reversed as well...

Edit:
Might sound weird but looking close, the paintwork almost looks like it's printed on. It has that ink jet spotty fuzziness. Don't see anything like this on the JP3 raptor or other Nanmu dinos I have. Maybe it's airbrushed?

So let's see, I'm yet to get the new V. rex or two new raptors, and now they have an Indominus rex, Indoraptor, and two T. rex designs in the pipeline. Woof.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yeah but those won't be out at the same time. The Theri is scheduled for Late May.  That's two months to catch up.

Carnoking

Oh that reminds me, I have to pre-order the theri too! :o

I'm getting the original Indominus color scheme, so neither of the others are really appealing. They should have tried a camouflage version or at least partially.

Apparently they can only do two variants so they're putting it to a community vote. Luckily a cursory glance at the comments shows a lot in favor of the original color scheme. Honestly it would kind of suck to have such a screen accurate sculpt only available in two completely unrelated color schemes

Faelrin

I voted for the white and tiger colored ones. Never thought I'd see the Indominus done up in a tiger raptor like coloration, but man it looks so good like that. That said the white is iconic and film canon.

Hope we can get a skin like that in one of the JWE games (that said I wish someone would make a figure based on the Indominus vivid skin).

I never even considered that outcome. The white is to me the first choice anyone would consider. The others aren't film accurate so rank 2nd to me.

I wouldn't say I forgot about it but it just never interested me.

Over9K

I never saw them for sale anywhere.... and yeah... limited interest.

So these are going to be roughly the size of the previous figure versions it looks like? Judging by the little ACU guy?

Wish they would make these larger..1/18 or so?

Looking at this makes me wonder why Mattel can't make a rex like this. This is what the HC rex should have looked like. I don't get why it doesn't

It depends on what references they are using, I can't understand why the JW Rex differs so much in design from the JP/TLW ones.  I know they have the  fan explanations, age, sickness, ect.. but none of that as I recall is specifically mentioned in the films.  Apparently, they lost the ability to recreate it from the studio archives.   Next the cg Rex and the animatronic Rex are different designs, not 100% but enough you can tell it looking side by side.  Nanmu's looks based on the animatronic, while Mattel did a weird amalgamation of several different references plus they added in the playability features for something more poesable.  Nanmu's is cool but going by the raptors will not be nearly as poseable and stable.   I didn't mean to go on and on but that's pretty much why we don't get what we really could have.

That's all true, but then you even have the Marco Makes kits which instantly transform it into a better looking one.
The Giganotosaurus was very nice and bulky, sacrificing the waist joint and double jointed knees allowed for a better figure without losing much.
This Nanmu one even looks to have a waist joint. It's really, really good looking, ugh I just want a buck rex that actually looks like THIS sculpt wise from Mattel. Nanmu wasn't working from original files, so Mattel doesn't have to either.
