Hi guys,
I decided to start a topic on this thread too, as my collection is taking shape.
As you can see from the title and my introductory post, my collection will be entirely 3D printed (by me), the same for the paint job.

Usually in the more classic modeling forums, such as the military one, 3D printing is now an integral part of the hobby, but I haven't noticed the same trend here, so I hope my posts will be appreciated.
I will try to use this personal space to show the progress and difficulties of a collection entirely printed with a home printer. :))

All models will be printed in 1/35 scale, my favourite scale also for military modelling, even if I am aware that this could make printing smaller creatures difficult. ::)

Coming to the details of my setup, the miniatures will be printed with an Elegoo Mars 4 Ultra, while the bases with a Bambulab A1 Mini.

In the next few days I will show the first piece of the collection, at the moment it is not painted, but I think it could be cool to show a before and after. 8)

Welcome to the thread! I've been wanting to get into 3d printing models, but unfortunately don't have the capability to set up a resin printer at the moment, so am stuck printing larger replicas on my fdm printers. You're in luck, as nowadays most mass produced figures also tend to be around the 1:35 mark, so you should have no trouble if you ever want to add some non-printed models to your collection!

Look forward to further updates.

Thanks! With the filament one I only printed Andalgalornis steulleti fossil skull for now, I don't find it enough detailed for small details as in 1/35 models, but it's perfect for big stuff!
I hope you will be able to have your resin one soon, it's awesome printing models, and there are such great artist outside!

I definitely agree with this!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Hi guys!
A few days have passed, but work life has kept me a bit busy. I thought about which model to show you first, and I was torn between two.

I have never painted anything "alive" so I went with the model that I find easiest to paint.

Mammuthus columbi from VFB Paleoart will be the first model that I'll show you. I'll paint it like the Asian elephant, being its close relative.

My collection of prehistoric elephants currently boasts, in addition to this model, Stegodon ganesha and, in a few days, Gomphotherium productum.
