Lovely photos! What's the scale of this guy? Strongly considering it.

Thanks for the helpful comparison photos S @SidB. Quite a treat for me that you included the Malawisaurus, which remains a particularly beloved piece in my collection.

Most welcome, avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian . I think that Safari's inclusion of the Malawisaurus in a past release was fortunate too, especially as it was something unique. The Saltasaurus replaces the old Carnegie one, of course, which was expected, if long delayed, but the Malawi was a treat. I hope that they produce more of the smaller sauropods in the near future. If you get the new Saltasaurus, I'd love to see it get "Garretized".

Thank you so much! I think that may be within what I'm willing to accept for such a rarely made species such as this.

Sim

I've acquired the original Schleich Pteranodon, which avatar_Libraraptor @Libraraptor very kindly got for me in Germany!  I've also acquired a Kaiyodo Oviraptor, but I've concluded I don't need it so it's going into my sales thread.

Paleodude

Jurassic World Rebirth line has come to Canada and I couldn't say no to Maiasaura. Jury's out on whether it's actually in the movie but novel species are always welcome in a JP toyline.

So, avatar_Sim @Sim , has the Pteranodon landed on Albion?

It sounds like a real team work ;)  Congrats both !

Members in the USA would do well to cultivate partnerships with oversees partners in light of the strangling and limiting effects of the ongoing tariffs. Its good to maintain a strategic reserve.

Guys,
I think I found a rare Kosmoceratops!

I tried to repaint the yes of my argentinosaurus that were missing the yellow part.
I don't knokw what you think, maybe it's too vibrant and should make a slight brown wash on it ?

Yes!

Then enjoy your new figure! You´ve been hunting it passionately ^-^

I received a little package in the mail yesterday, this time from Japan. it's been a good while as I only collect the "soft" line from Favorite, and their output has been minimal over the past few years, to say the least. 2024 saw the release of only one  - their Dimorphodon. And here it is:

Displayed with Favorite's previous Pterosaurs of the Soft line - the 2004 Pteranodon (Geosternbergia), 2013 one and color variant and later Quetzalcoatlus:

That is a really nice Dimorphodon S @SidB and I agree, I miss more releases from Favorite.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Sim

I like the colouration of that Dimorphodon, but I thought you didn't collect figures that aren't around 1:35 scale?

Generally you're quite right, but the Favorite Company is a major exception. It's a very old element in my collection, with a major sentimental value. At one time I regarded their figures as my most prized dinosaur collectables as this was before the days of the Safari renaissance and PNSO/ HLG, where I focus on 1/35 if at all possible (there are exceptions). Favorite is very inconsistent with their scales and I'm a Favorite soft figure completionist, so I don't care about scale with them. In a nutshell, that' it.

If I'm not mistaken, their release schedule from 2022-2024 has been 2, 2 and 1 figure respectively, so it appears that they are winding down  the line somewhat. No announcement for this year, afaik.
