Figures this size unfortunately leads to noticeably distorted photos with a phone but it does give an idea, hopefully, how the largest land animal and animal we know of so far period might look together. In hand without camera distortion I can fully believe a large blue whale being around twice as heavy as an argentinosaurs, despite by far looking the most slim and graceful out of the two. No shame on the titanosaur, they were walking fermentation chambers after all.

Models are Haolonggood argentinosaurus and Sumeru studio blue whale, both 1:35 scale.

Thanks for posting these photos, it is an excellent comparison. I now want to get a Blue Whale myself.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Great comparaison ! I want an ityiotitan of that size ! Or an accurate size, but it should be quite impressive still.

Amazing models and comparisons! I'm envious of your Sumero blue whale and it's more
realistic paint job compared to PNSO. I love the idea of having the largest animals with accurate scaling next to each other!

I recently purchased the Papo Blue Whale to stand in as a calf next to his PNSO mother. This was after a repaint I did this weekend to make it more accurate. Great sculpt but terrible paint job on Papos part. Is the Sumero one heavy or does it feel hollow? Do you have a permanent placement for both models yet?

I gifted the Papo one to my nephew, its a decent sculpt yes, and a very lazy paintjob.

The Sumeru model is a little north of ~7kilos, maybe seven and a half without the stand, so definitively partly hollow but in no way fragile. Only the flippers, flukes and the tiny back fin are points I'd be careful about if moving it off the stand, they do not feel or appear flimsy but I'm avoiding letting the models weight ever rest on them. It feels lighter then the argentinosaurus holding them in my hand under the belly, but is in fact about 2 kilos heavier on the scale. It is very well balanced with its point of gravity spot on the area of the fingertip sized hole where the stand inserts, so that when mounted it can swivel effortlessly but not like a out of control propel if you want to reposition it without moving the stand or just easily turn it to view from other angles. It is a very high quality model on par with the Dafei elephant or Linghu studio dinosaurs which is a tall hurdle to clear, I excepted it to be good but as the wife said, it's a piece of art. No set spots for them yet, my wife loves the argentinosaurus and wants it somewhere in her plants while I'm more inclined to have a corner with all the figures on display, where the blue whale will take center stage.

Compression from uploading has made it hard to see but in hand the eyes look familiar to that famous photo of a whale eye.

I kinda wish I got that one instead of the PNSO. I don't think yours was that much more expensive than what I got, even with the paint job included. At any rate congrats for having such an amazing piece of art. These models are so good that it's almost impossible to feel buyers regret in hand.

Also, not to be forgotten, but this represents a world record sized blue whale. The biggest out of the hundres of thousands killed by humankind over the last 200 years. By contrast, that's the only Argentinosaurus ever found. The average Antarctic Blue whale (the largest population) only masses around 120 tons and 25 meters long. Many other pops average sub 100 tons and 23 meters long.

An Argentinasaurus and a Blue Whale walk into a bar.
Bartender says "what're y'all drinking?"
The Blue Whale says "Radon."
The Sauropod says "Osmium."
The Bartender blinks and says "weight...."

For me, this was actually a little cheaper then the PNSO, seeing how that is priced on amazon. Definitively no buyers regret for either figure, the Haolonggood argentinosaurus is in my opinion the best non resin/custom dinosaur on the market.

I guess I am a little bit late but know I will rethink about the Argentino (and a blue whale)...thank you R @Rayeknor  ;)  :))
