Just received my Berserker Empress today. I'm not sure how Nanmu topped their previous work but they did. The joints are so fluid..even the toes flex. The extra hands are cool, you just need to use a hairdryer to warm them up a bit to switch out.  It's also just an amazingly detail piece, the semi translucent teeth, veins in the jaw tissue...I think they only thing that might have been forgotten was the gloss on the eyes? I'm really very surprised that the other companies that have been doing this longer are not as good at doing it. Can't wait for the next ones.

I think you can use nail gloss for the eyes. I might be wrong tho
When life closes a door, open it again! It's a door that's how they work, dummies!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yeah I have some gloss I use on model kits. I just mentioned it as the raptors had glossy eyes.

This girl really makes me want the Rexes and Spino sooner rather than later. Next up are the Indoraptors though which will still be cool.

Looks like the Smart Series Tyrannosaurs are up for order if anyone is interested.

Ordered both. Now to wait til Spring for them. Spino probably won't be out til Summer.

Nanmu has slowed down quite a bit I feel like? Just like other companies.

Over9K

Wow, the Smart Series Rexy is cheaper than the previous Rexy?

NGL, that's impressive.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Nanmu just posted that some retailers got a jump on listing it. Retail from them was 69.99, and it's supposed to be released Q4 2025 not April as Lana indicated..so earlier is better.

Does the Buck and Doe/Rexy have different headsculpts for the Smart Series?

Cpt Red 3eard

I think so. You can see some facial scars on the male figure.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yeah they look different. Nanmu knows they are different characters too.  The full release of these is supposed to be this weekend thats when I would expect more pics.

Eatmycar

It is a shame Nanmu is mostly only interested in movie monsters - they could easily blow BoTM out of the market for 1:35.

Cpt Red 3eard

I dunno. They're doing a crocodile at the moment. I assume that means they're open to doing extant creatures. It could be from Lake Place I suppose? I'd like to see them do a great white.

Head sculpts are definitely different. Nanmu posted more pics up : https://www.facebook.com/Nanmutoys

Nanmu despite what it seems like is a smaller company. They seem to streamlined a bit we might get 3/4 items a year.  Being such a company they have to do what sells and movie creatures sell better I'm afraid.

Might be the Lake Placid croc.

They are having a naming contest on FB currently..I do like the idea of one being Steve/Irwin at least.

Faelrin

I almost forgot how nice that animatronic was that SWS built for the film. Only seen it in full in a few scenes I think, but still. No surprise with how they handled the JP dinos at the time, and many other creatures over the years, but still. Surprised Rebor didn't do anything up like this one (though they did do tribute to the snake from the Anaconda film with the one Titanoboa statue). Be real neat if Nanmu is doing one of these like it.

Monkeysaurus

Those crocs are incredible looking, are they salties or Nile?
Just because I have a short attention span doesn't mean
