Incredibly underwhelming set from SO-TA, considering how strong their extant releases are...

That's right. I have their 1:1 Bee Kolibri set and they're excellent!
But this release is definitely not to my taste.

Oof, that's a bummer. Just like Tomy and Bandai: exquisite extant animals, but really lackluster prehistorics.

Oh, the smallest Dinosaur!

This one, right?

Looks much better!
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I might consider the Anomalocaris only if the final product is painted different (SO-TA often releases prototype images first, so these may not necessarily represent final paint jobs)

Definitely nicer than the other release but a bit odd to have so many versions of a single skeleton. Also, this is like the sixth or seventh Japanese company to make some version of Archelon, but nobody in any other country has made one for decades.

Edit: I'm forgetting the 2017 mini version by CollectA. Still, most companies seem pretty allergic to Archelon, except in Japan.

Okay so that's where that yellow Anomalocaris I've seen popping up from Mercari is from (and maybe the Dunkleosteus as well). Good thing I checked this out of curiosity. Guess I could add it to the Paleozoic List I made. At the time I was exhausted and wasn't interested in tracking down who made it however.

Those Archelon skeletons look nice however. Is the green one a glow in the dark version?
