Balaur - Hahaha! I take it you noticed the Solidworks notes from one of my sketches. Yup. Trying to increase my value as an artist by learning 3D! A feathered T.Rex???? Hmmmm... I'll have to think about that... ;-)

Here's what I did over the weekend. A feathered friend, Xiaotingia zhengi!

Beautiful artwork, but here's a crit- its hands are zombified ;). The palms should be facing each other, like how birds do.

The deinonychus on the right is correct. The hands should be in a clapping position.

Hope this helps :) Just pointing out the mistake so that you can use it for reference in future. You have great skill, and you could go far in the paleoart community :)

@tyrantqueen - Thanks for the constructive crit and the reference image. I always have a hard time with the front claws on raptors. Thank you for pointing it out. I will be more conscious going forward! :)

@Concavenator - Thanks! Glad you like it!

@Spinosaurus - Thanks!!!

These are just lovely.  Wonderful rendering of a Xiaotingia zhengi, love the softness of the feathers you were able to achieve in the neck.
