Ok I have been wanting to buy Dinosaurs: A Concise Natural History, and there's two versions. one is more up to date.  Problem is, the updated one is too expensive for me to obtain, so I was leaning towards the older one since its cheaper.

So I ask you.   Is the First addition severely outdated? or can I buy it without learning to much that out of date?

I wouldn't know, I have neither edition, but I'd always go for the most up to date version when possible.
