Another day, another collection thread dedicated to one artist. This time its the works of Ansley McDanial. I was referd to her, after seeing if Sarah Whelan would take commisions again and asking her for recomendations when she did not.

My first model from Ansley is a replica of Gastonia burgii, in 1:30ish scale.

I also had her Sketch the model, after it was finished

Well i hope you enjoy

The Art by Anz Gastonia

Next to a 1:32 Human for Scale

Here it is with some Breyer Horses

Dusty Wren

I remember seeing Ansley's progress posts for the Gastonia on reddit. So cool that it was for a DTF member! It looks amazing, and I especially love the striping.

How was it working with Ansley? I've been thinking about asking for a commission ever since she posted her incredible Sivatherium.
Check out my customs thread!

Working with her was smooth with Easy comunication,  and im happy with my Gastonia. :)

though keep in mind she only does buisness VIA Email. So if your on Instagram, or Facebook, dont use there Messageing servicies to contact her for Commisions.   I Found this Out the first time I tried to contact her. It was on Instagram, and there was no reply. I cant Remember her Exact Reasons for not replying, but i got ahold of her via Email, and it was then she told me that Email was the best way to comunicate.

Dont let that drive you away from her if you want to give her a go, though  :),

ITdactyl

I keep forgetting that they have wombat like butt shields.

That is an awesome model. I'd put a little more work on the eyes (no disrespect to the artist) but I love the sculpt and color choices.

Shonisaurus

That gastonia reveals many other resin or PVC figures of that dinosaur. How good it is! My congratulations.

Nice work. Wouldn't you dare to market your figures? You would have clients for sure. My congratulations.

I like the colors of the realistic figures and the sculpture, they are unusual figures. Your work is magnificent.

Thank you for the compliments, :)  but I did not Sculpt these figures, as I Commisioned Paleo Artist, Ansley Mcdanial to Sculpt them.

As for Mass Production, I wish i could. But i just do not have the right enviroment for casting, and moulding figures, (Plus I do not want to break the figures for moulding)

ceratopsian

Really attractive with plenty of character.

SidB

Terrific sculpts, thanks for sharing.

Understand. That sculptor Ansley Mcdanial is a marvel. I understand your position. I once again emphasize my congratulations on your figures and what a sculptor you have to sculpt those figures for you. It could be hired by any toy dinosaur figure company.

My newest model from her is complete,

Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis

I also have a  Sketch for the model, drawn by Ansley herself, as well as one for the Pachyrhinosaurus that i forgot to show in its original post, so Check that out if you want to see it  :).

Also, if the source of inspiration for the Pachycephalosaurus models coloration looks familier

thats because it was inspired by A Painting By Christopher DiPiazza. Done with his Permission
