This set was posted a while ago on these boards in the thread about the new Kaiyodo Ceratopsian Capsule. I haven't heard anything about is since, which is a shame since it looks fabulous. Is there any new information on when and where this set will be available, and at what price?

My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

The translations tell me little to nothing, but they look hand-made, and there is reference to them being "the work of S Y" and something about "the issue of unsold product"... so I think they might be prototype capsule-saurs?

As much as I would love to believe this set exists or will exist I really don't think any major company would create such a large set devoted entirely to iguanodontids. I mean I can see six or so like with Kaiyodos recent sets but a set of 16 iguanodontids?

Roselaar

A custom set then? That's too bad, though I applaud the craftsmanship. I figures 16 Iguanodontids would be too much of a good thing...

I'm not a huge hadrosaur fan, but I actually think it's pretty cool. I like the variety, and the fact that they're gashapon means they don't hog a lot of space. It's probably my Asperger's kicking in that makes me obsessively want to own and catalogue every species, haha.

That's why I end up collecting lines like CollectA and Geoworld. so many species, it makes me feel like im collecting every dinosaur ever

Did anyone see these, too?

Is there a link to the page? And is it a real set, or a mock up like the other iguanodontid one? Because that's a lot of Maisaura in one set--unless there is some sort of special exhibition going on.

Roselaar

An all-Maiasaura set, what an awesome concept. I hope this is for real and acquirable. :)

I hate to be a buzz killer but a link to the page wouldn't be worth your time. There was just a couple of lines which didn't mention anything specific.

CityRaptor

If this set is real, it is ideal for building herds.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

sauroid

the japanese creators are quite good at tormenting us dino/prehistoric figure collectors...
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I haven't bought the other sets..but this one is tempting. It's one big dio in one go.

Libraraptor

Looks great, too good to be true.

CityRaptor

Gotta agree there. While it would be an awesome set for serious collectors like us, the average person to buy toys would probably be attracted by something more diverse.

Bokisaurus

Awesome concept... but I think this set is just like the first one, a concept/prototype that never reached production. My japanese connection can't find a single info about the first set >:(
