Hey, glad to be a part of something with other paleo-enthusiasts. I've never been a member of any forum before, so this is all completely new to me, and I don't know exactly what I'm doing yet - just that I've always loved dinosaurs (and other extinct creatures...) and I guess I've always been a collector.

I started as an 80's child with Definitely Dinosaurs, then Dino-Riders, then Jurassic Park (even though I was starting to get older - how could I resist?). I don't have all those old toys, just a few JP items I had in my mother's garage, but a number of years ago, I started collecting Carnegie/Safari pieces, and have branched out a bit from there with a few Papo's and some one-offs from other brands/series.

What I look for are realistic and highly-detailed "museum-quality replicas" though I have to admit, I still don't have a lot of the higher-end stuff yet. My most expensive piece is the Dinostoreus Tyrannosaurus battle scene, over the fallen Triceratops.

Hopefully, one day I'll gather my collections and shoot 'em and post 'em on here. Unfortunately, some of my favorite pieces are at another location right now, and have yet to reorganize everything and find some room to display them properly.

Thank you! Wow, nice figures on your banner. Where can I see more???

Metallisuchus

Thank you all. I'm actually familiar with what many of you do - art, sculptures, etc. I've been messing around on these pages for a while, so I figured I'd join. Glad I did. It's good to see I'm not the only adult who collects these things, haha.
