I'm trying to get a ton of carnegies, some of the older ones look neat. One I really want is the Protoceratops nest, but when I look on ebay all the base under the adult proto is painted green! Does anyone know where I can get one? If any forum member has one I would trade a AAA T.rex for it (the black tail dragging one)

PaleoMatt

Also instead of the AAA rex I could also trade some AAA extant animals I found and they are a polar bear, panda, penguin, elephant and hippo.

Some are like that, as can be seen from comments on the DTB review of the figure: http://dinotoyblog.com/2010/05/09/protoceratops-carnegie-collection-by-safari-ltd/  This can also be seen in therizinosaurus's photo of several Carnegie Protoceratops in his collection thread: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=1493.0

Is therizinosaurus still active on the forum? If so I could ask him if I could sort out a trade. Also just ordered the Dilophosaurus pair on Ebay. Worth the £34 if you ask me.

PaleoMatt

I'm now on the lookout for the Pachycepahlosaurus if anyone is willing to trade, oh and version 2 please :)

PaleoMatt

Actually what is the difference between version 1 and 2 besides the paint job?

Halichoeres

They look basically identical to me aside from the paint. Maybe the second version is a little sharper in the details. I have both available for trade, but I admit to some reluctance to sending more packages across the Atlantic.  :-[
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Yeah. That Yangchuanosaurus is a big loss for both of us.
