Meet Cambroraster falcatus, a new radiodont (related to Aegirocassis and Hurdia, and more distantly to Anomalocaris). It was a largish animal, up to 30 cm, and had a weird carapace that made it look a little like a horseshoe crab.

I saw this in an article the other day. The fossil itself is really interesting to look at too. The species name was named after the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars as well.  Here's the article, actually: https://www.livescience.com/66067-millennium-falcon-cambrian-predator.html

Hopefully some day we'll get a figure of this creature, to add to its Burgess Shale counterparts.

I hope so! But I fear we'll just get more Anomalocaris and Opabinia.
