Help With CollectA Agustinia

I bought a CollectA Deluxe Agustinia in May 2012, so it's almost 8 years since I have it. The problem is that, since around late 2018 I have been noticing that whenever I touch it, it's actually kind of sticky  :o It's very strange, that has never happened to me with any other figure from any brand. Not even with the old CollectA Deluxe Baryonyx, which I think was released around the same time.

Until around mid-late 2018 like I said the quality of the plastic was alright, but now, it's a bit sticky and if I rub the figure with my fingers some paint comes out. I don't what to do with it, to be honest  :-\ I would feel sorry for tosing it into the trash, but on the other hand, I don't want to have a figure on my shelf that is sticky and gives the feel as if it was melting. I have even thought of giving it away, but I didn't do it because I wouldn't give it to a child to play, myself, whenever I touch it, I wash my hands right after.

Have any of you also got this problem with this particular figure? Like I said, I'm surprised, no other figure I have or have seen in person have this problem.

Well, I don't have that figure, but there is a thread about sticky figures. It's even a sticky thread.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator I understand your pain, the same thing happened to me with the agustinia of Collecta, I had to replace it with a new one. The plastic was just as sticky as yours, and the same thing happened to me with the Collecta paraceratherium, I also had to buy a new one. And that happened to him every day and regularly. I don't know what defect those two plastic figures had could be manufacturing defects.

Thank you both for your replies, I will check that thread out  :)
