I currently have $170 (AUS) and am not a expert on the dinosaur collectible market. I do really like dinosaurs though. I am looking to save some money and can't go over budget. Is there any really cool things you know of that I could buy.
Thank you in advance
Email me any extra information if you want to

Before I give an answer, what specifically (accuracy, detail etc.) do you want in your dinosaur figures?

Faelrin

Any particular species you are interested in? Are you interested in statutes or high end figures or toys (Minizoo would be good site to check out for toy figures)? Any scale? Are bases or articulation preferred or problematic?

To help more on this, as I wasn't clear enough (sorry and thanks for replying) I really like the eofauna Giga, I saw it somewhere on a review. I am interested in something like a diorama and also a Baryonx would be nice. I like high end figures that basically don't move, apart from the occasional mouth articulation. I also would like a Quetzalcoatlus.
Thank you

Basically there are 5 class of figures: entry level, mid-price range, high-end figures, mini figures and action-figures.

The entry level range is about figures from 4usd to 25/30 usd.
Figures from this range are almost made of pvc, from major brands like Safari Ltd, CollectA, Papo, Favorite Ltd, Mojo Fun, Schleich..
These figures could be described as toys or collectors models (or both  ;) ).

The mid price range is from about 35usd to 120/130 usd.
These figures are made of pvc or vinyl and brands are PNSO, Eofauna, Rebor, Nanmu, Vitae, W-Dragon..
They are more oriented to collectors.

The high-end range is about statues made of polystone/resin; prices are from 70usd to 1000usd (or more).
High-end brands are Sideshow, Chronicle Collectibles, Kinto/Favorite (Desktop Line), Iron Studio, Dam-Toys.
Even resin kits (to be manually assembled and painted) are in this range: Shane Foulkes, Sean Cooper, David Krentz, Dinone Studio, M-See etc..

Usually mini figures (gashapon) are from Japan and major brands are Kaiyodo, Colorata and Favorite Ltd.
Originally these figures are quite cheap but could be expensive if out of production and rare to find.

Major action figures brands are Mattel (Jurassic World), Kenner (Jurassic Park) and Creative Beasts (by David Silva).
Prices may vary but usually not more than 150 usd.

Here you can see some pictures about major brands:

A really good on-line shop at Australia is Minizoo ( https://www.minizoo.com.au/ ).

I hope it could help.

The best Quetzalcoatlus currently in production is Safari's (https://store.safariltd.com/products/quetzalcoatlus). If you want something smaller, the one from Colorata's "Dino Cretaceous Volume 1" box is also very nice (https://www.colorata.com/fs/colorata/figure/figurebox_dd1). Kaiyodo has made several very pretty miniatures, as well (5-6 cm tall).

If you poke around the "dinosaur toy lines" part of the forum, or browse the dinotoycollector.com web site, you might also find some ideas. Happy hunting!

I just saw the Prices in that Shop. Living in AUS and collecting Figures must be hard down there. :( 89 AUS Dollars for the Papo Spino. I paid 39€ :o

Even including shipping to Canada it's cheaper for me to buy through Minizoo than other retailers. Their prices are top notch. Papo Spino might be an outlier.

Yeah, Minizoo is my go-to online store as well. Any Canadian looking for non-Schleich merchandise should rely on them.
