Diramix has put a new twist on old crap with their new series, Epic Dinosaurs: Dino Family. Here's the extremely optimistic artwork:

And here's a screenshot from their YouTube ad:

Some of them look pretty close to knockoffs. I like that the Centrosaurus is just a Styracosaurus.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I'm a little disappointed the Therizionsaurus doesn't seem to be in the screenshot. Given how some of these look, I imagine it's a real horror show.

Therizinosaurus was covered by the magazine in the screenshot above taken at the end of the commercial. But, you  missed nothing! He seems strongly inspired by the schleich figure.

(Seeing the artwork - which despite some inaccuracies, it seemed quite dynamic and interesting - compared to the final toys, it´s almost an allegory about the disparity between what was conceived in the realm of ideas and what we obtain in the sensible world. a mere shadow of the original idea).

sauroid

the adult mammoth looks like a mini papo mammoth
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Really hope the Centrosaurus comes out not looking like  Styracosaurus, will be disappointing otherwise. Or require surgery.

their marine animals are fun sometimes.
otherwise yuck. never new moulds, always upright scaly crap.

It's definitely just a Styracosaurus, although the art looks a bit like the BotM one.

Yup. They're the only ones to try Poraspis, Pituriaspis, etc.

Another month, another batch of crappy rubber figures. This one is mostly present-day marine creatures, but includes what appears to be a repaint of their previously released generic ammonite.

It would be nice to see another fish set. I never did get their (or was it DeAgostini's?) snakehead or payara

Not really a prehistoric lifeform, but the newest set of rubber figures includes a Nessie, which might be of interest to avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum and avatar_BlueKrono @BlueKrono

Seems like Nessie is the only Legendary who can not fly.  But then again.

Surprised they don't have a super rare Fifth Element or Avatar/Captain Planet style creature in the collection.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Another winner: a Jack Russell terrier in a dinosaur costume:
