TRIVIA---when Michael Crichton toured the film set of THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN which was based on his best-selling novel, his tour guide was Steven Spielberg, who had just signed a seven-year television contract with Universal Pictures. Crichton and Spielberg reunited 20 years later when Spielberg bought the movie rights to Crichton's JURASSIC PARK which became one of the most highest-grossing movies in history and the first movie in the hugely successful franchise.
