Thanks. :) I know a few of you have left ratings and reviews for the book, on Amazon for example, which I really appreciate, so thank you all.

My review DID turn up on Amazon, must take a couple of days I guess.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Thanks B @Bokisaurus for the glowing review on Amazon, with pictures to boot! https://amzn.to/3yRAge2
Thanks also for mentioning it in your Dinotoyblog review of the CollectA Elasmosaurus. It all helps spread the word. O:-)

This photo by B @Bokisaurus is my favourite.  :))

That reads really well.

And I'm picking up my copy this afternoon!

I meant to ask, avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian, did you pick up your copy okay?

Wollaton Hall has now ordered some copies for the museum shop. They haven't arrived yet but when they do it means visitors to 'Titus: T. rex is king' can buy a copy.

avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum - my local branch of Waterstones duly got hold of it for me.  Glad you will soon be having it available at the exhibition!

I'm happy to report that The Plesiosaur's Neck has been shortlisted for a Spark! School Book Award: https://www.sparkbookawards.co.uk/the-awards/ages-6-11-picture-fiction

As part of the process Jonathan and I were invited to put together a short video for the school children who will be voting for the winner!

So the most accurate plesiosaur is a sock puppet.  You should have plugged your new book.

Ha, well, the hand-made crocheted plesiosaur is a prop to demonstrate different hypotheses to the children in online sessions. For in-school visits we have this 1/3 scale stick puppet that the children control!:

As some of you might know, a friend of mine had crocheted a limited edition of Mixosaurus three or so years ago for a school bazaar. The income was given directly to the partner school in Africa. From my own experience I know how costly crocheting a toy like that is. Are you planning a to produce a higher run of it and then perhaps even sell it?

No, the crocheted Poppy plesiosaur doll is one of a kind, Jonathan' wife made it especially for our online sessions, she has no plans to make any more!
