Any demand for MPC dinosaurs?

Is there any demand among collectors for MPC dinosaurs?

I'm good friends with the owners of my local thrift shop, and they've got a complete set (minus Smilodon), as well as a number of duplicates.  Do you think that any collectors (here or otherwise) would be interested in buying them, or are they considered garbage?

Im sure someone needs them.   Do not trash them.

You would do well to post a pic, most like to see what someone is selling. :)

My friend would certainly be interested in them, but will depend on the asking price and shipping cost.

I didn't see any trashing in the post.

MPC are Marx right? Marx do have a fanbase among retro collectors and older collectors who played with them in their childhood, much like Invicta.

I definitely would be interested in the MPCs. Can you get pics or a list of what he has and what he is asking for them? Thanks.

MPC are not Marx, they were made by Multiple Plastics Corporation, at the tail end of Marx dinosaur sales. They were generally made with two piece molds rather than three, and were normally smaller, and less detailed than the previous marx style dinosaurs. They also as a general rule were more brightly colored, than the olive greens and dark browns marx used frequently
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

:) There are MPC figures that I would like that we're not from used Marx molds. (Diatryma, etc..)

Oh, right you are :)

Here's what they've got currently.  A few have sold in the intervening days.

Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Brontosaurus, Ceratogaulus, Cynognathus, Dimetrodon:

Glyptodon, Trachodon, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus:

Diatryma, Plateosaurus, Stegosaurus, Struthiomimus:

Dire Wolf, Kronosaurus, Macrauchenia, Moschops, Pteranodon, Styracosaurus, Woolly Mammoth:

I'm not sure how much they're asking for them, but they're probably super cheap.  We're in Ottawa, Ontario, so you can project shipping costs based on that and on where you are.
