Didn't realise 'Surviving Earth' was a BBC production. I wonder why the BBC didn't just give the much coveted 'Walking With' title to this project instead of 'WWD2'?

It's not, but the VFX studio that's doing the visuals for Surviving Earth bought out the one that did them for WWD2, so work on both docus is essentially happening in the same place
