Quote from: Halichoeres on May 02, 2025, 06:12:13 PMI definitely prefer this Aquilops to the giant Mattel one.

TBF we haven't seen a mainline version yet; but equally a mainline one may very well be oversized, or even suffer Oviraptor's fate.

I think I'll be contacting Brett to help be track down the Mosa-Spino-Aquilops set. Tempted by the Titano set, but I really am not a fan of how ANIA cuts their articulation, especially on Sauropods.

Halichoeres

Yeah I'm sure there will be plenty of Aquilops options. I'm intrigued by the Wow Stuff "puppetronic" version but I think it will be kinda pricey even without tariffs.

Agreed on TT's sauropods, their necks are always so unsightly!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Anyone know which ceratopsian that is in the right corner? Looks like a baby trike?

Faelrin

avatar_Quiversaurus @Quiversaurus Yep, that's a baby Triceratops.

The Ramphy is a Mattel design, oddly enough.

It seems that this figure doesn't match with the one of avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy 's picture ?
Here, the wings are in "one block" whereas they seem to be in 2 parts (or articulated ?) on the other picture^^

EDIT : okay I just understand that it was a comparison with the Mattel's model sry !

Faelrin

Yep the 2019 Dino Rivals one. They did the same with the Dino Rivals Amargasaurus a few years back.

It seems the snout was tweaked in the tomy figure, which in turn makes it look a little closer to the real fossils, what with the narrow, toothless tip and what looks to be a more upturned lower jaw. Or it could be identical and the angle is tricky, I guess we'll have to see.
If it is different I'll be grabbing one, since I already like the mattel 2019 Rhamphorhynchus.

Wish it were a Pachy or a Trike... Somehow Tomy's Ania line JW/JP ceratopsians are quite lacking.

That oughta hold 'er!

CityRaptor

Whose smart idea was it to give the mult-ton apex predator a high speed transportation?
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Apparently, the train track is sold separately :(

This is the part written in Japanese at the bottom of the picture, marked with an asterisk.
