Are there any good paleontology-related pages or groups on Facebook that are worth participating in? I've already 'liked' a lot of paleo-blog pages but am wondering if there's more.

There are a good number of them that I participate in..the Prehistoric times has a page, there is one for fossils, and many dinosaur and paleontology pages, as well as many dedicated to dinosaur bones and fossils. I have one for psittacosaurus, called Psittacosaurus Pcentral.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Member Predino also made this group for independent Dinosaur Toy reviews. Not a rival for the DTB, just one that's open to those who don't have the right skill to write for the Blog.

Dinolord, I am unsure a one size fits all approach works to Facebook pages, but since you asked here are the dinosaur related groups I roll with. Take what you can use and can the rest, hard to tell what style might interest you.

Thanks. I'm basically looking for pages to keep me updated on the latest paleo news and relatively higher level discussion groups. I think your links covered it.

Glad I could help then, enjoy the groups and let me know if you need more, I have a list of them I use, but those are my favorites. I really enjoy that Paleo wiki group, they can come up with some papers you wouldnt believe !!

Save the juicy discussion for this forum though! Anything they can do we can do better.
These Facebook groups might be the death of us otherwise. :-\

Yes, agreed.

I dislike the reblogging culture that exists on Facebook. Ironically the whole site feels impersonal to me. I like forums because it encourages intelligent discussion, not just pressing a button to say that you agree with someone.

Oh I definitely agree that forums are best for intelligent discussion. Just wanted some pages where people share pretty pictures really. Honestly out of all the ones that have been shared I've only found the fossil group to be substantive (the Jersey Boys page is great but is not really a group per se).

Gryphoceratops

Can't speak for others but my fb page (jerseyboys) is more of a launching pad with links to our articles more than anything else.  We also put up a lot of artwork, photos, and videos.
