Been a while since i updated this post. Well That Barapasaurus has piqued my interest in the line again
Next up is Pentaceratops

Archinto

I kinda like the therizinosaurus from this line cause its weird. Itd be an awesome one to strip and repaint. They carry these toys at many local stores here in alaska and i alsways manage to look at this one on the shelf. I can see why people get finicky about them. They are nice grade dinosaur toys/models in my opinion, but ive never bought one.... the price point hurts a little.
I'm seeking Orsenigo and other interesting vintage dinosaurs. Contact me if you can help with my search!

The most recent Schleich(s)  are more toy-oriented than model-oriented.
Nothing wrong about that because they're targeting the children not the collectors.
There are exceptions ( the Pentaceratops or the Kentrosaurus ).
I collect the old ReplicaSaurus line.
For me the ReplicaSaurus line is more interesting than the new one.
The past line always reminds me of the old illustrations in books I read as a child and/or the illustration from '800 artists,  like this one:

...and I always liked things like that:

Old Schleich(s) remind me vintage dino-illustrations:

The new ones are too cartoonish to me...

Have a nice day  :)

Yes i agree the new ones are more toy oriented vs what ive seen from papo (totally new to me) and carnegie. I remember when carnegie safari made their first models. Some were rather lackluster in the sculpt at the time. the original t rex is a good example of that. Their new models are nicer for sure. The Sleich dinosaurs are some of the first "model" type dinosaurs with jointed parts ive come across. I like that they also make dragons and other animals.

Viking Spawn

I think that Triceratops is one of their nicer models.
