Lovely display! I especially like the raptors popping out from the wood and the cavemen trying to capture the Smilodon. Great Papo collection you got.

CityRaptor

Well done. Although I guess it could need some kind of background.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Awesome display you got there! Also love the use of, aquarium plants?

PhilSauria

Great displays! I especially like the narrative / dramas you have going in each. I agree that a backdrop behind each one would really sell it.

Fenestra

Good stuff!
The plants, bits and bobs really make each shelf look special.

Thanks, yes I used a combination of aquarium and vivarium decor, collected over a period of time.

That's my plan! I've been looking for some suitable backdrops online for a long time but haven't been successful yet. Originally there was going to be an aquatic shelf but since the only two marine reptiles from the Papo line are hideous, I decided not to bother. The brown standing Rex was also retired due to cluttering, plus I prefer the green.

The only prehistoric models I'm missing are the discontinued steppe mammoth and the firepit.

Give the Plesiosaurus a chance, it is a very underrated model in my opinion. Maybe it would deserve a Loch Ness monster diorama of its own.

Faelrin

I really like these dioramas. They really bring these models to "life". It's also interesting how many of the Papo models that have poses that compliment their other models (even if not contemporaries, like the Cryolophosaurus and Dimetrodon pair, as an example). I really like the use of aquarium plants and decor, and such too. Thanks for sharing.
