This is a very nice Iguanodon. As for the mount in Brussels, I actually would have assumed just from looking at it that its skull was taphonomically distorted, but it could easily just be a lot of intraspecific variation.

S @SidB Thank you! Well, since there is a specimen with a similar skull, there isn't much room for debate, I would say.  :*D Though I can't argue with someone skipping the figure because its head shape doesn't resemble the typical Iguanodon's, after all, this is the reason why a lot of people (me included) passed on PNSO's'. I agree with you in that HLG's figure's skull resembles the typical Iguanodon skull more closely than PNSO's does.

As for the color variants, I like high contrast color schemes and I prefer this color variant, but the brown one does look very nice as well. Brown is the default color for dinosaur figures these days, so any figure that's a different color is likely to stand out in the context of any collection, thus turning said figure into an attractive choice.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres That's another possibility I hadn't thought of. Could be. Just as intraspecific variation (if we assume that the skull PNSO's figure's based off truly belongs to an Iguanodon bernissartensis individual, that would point to a fair amount of intraspecific variation within that species) is, or the presence of external soft tissue. As I mentioned before, I find it funny how I see more people complaining about the figure's head than about the clawed Digit V!

Yeah, the painted finger is a more unambiguous error, but Iguanodon has a big head, and I think the eye is drawn to heads and faces anyway, so it's easier to notice or fixate on features of the head.
