Estimates from genetics suggest an earlier emergence of eudicot flowers than fossils show, but here's one that gets a little closer to the molecular estimates. Beautiful preservation. Meet Lijinganthus revoluta:

I don't think I've ever seen a flower trapped in amber before. It's double the beauty. Pretty interesting discovery too.
