Do any of you members know why some of  the recent schleich releases are more accurate than what they had previously being releasing. Could it be new direction or new artists or something like that? Alot of the figures are still hit or miss but more hits than misses recently . They are still behind papo and collecta but mojo fun is catching up to schleich in my view esp with the triceratops which is a star figure on par with the schleich triceratops 2018.

A couple of possible factors:

-They've finally been feeling the competitive pressure from collectors switching over to collecting Safari, CollectA, Papo etc. due to the better quality of their figures
-Starting from 2018, they've been hiring Vlad Konstantinov (a well-reputed artist) for some of their figures

This I somewhat doubt since toy stores in germany usually don´t sell any of Schleich´s competitors.

True, but German collectors could easily get the other brands online, meaning Schleich would still see a weakening of its competitive edge.

They've also faced some (sadly not as much as deserved) backlash over their false claims of providing educational products.

My Theroy is that Schleich just has Sculptors who do whatever they like, and some are more Educated/interested, in dinosaurs then others.

That is how we get gems like this

and Abominations like this

In the Same year.

I will not denie that there products are improveing, but i am far from ready to say that they Compltly Turned around

Well, this seems to be based on the Carnotaurus by Damir G. Martin

But yeah, for every good one there is more or less a stinker.

As for German Collectors? Well, for many Schleich is still the non-plus ultra, so IF they are feeling competition, it would be more on the international market. Their main rival is probably currently the Jurassic World line here in Germany.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no
