Hello Guys,

I didn't browse the forum for a while but I'm still on painting kits and repainting toys.
I posted updates here last year just before I went in to operation room for starting my cancer treatment.
I thank you very much to all of you who wished me for fighting and healing. After that I went through Chemotherapy for 6 months and now I'm healed.  ;D
Thank you very much  for all your wishes again. :))

And these are some of my updated painting works of dinosaur kits on this forum.

Megalosaurus 1/20 Resin Kit sculpted by Sensen
I built and painted this kit while I was having chemotherapy so it was a slow painting project. I finished it after I finished my final chemotherapy.

Shonisaurus

I am glad above all that you are cured (that is the most important) on the other hand that megalosaurus painted by you is fabulous, I guess it is resin but I am wrong.

I like a company to make figures of that theropod that should be done justice, that sculpture does justice to megalosaurus and you have improved it ostensibly and totally with your painting. Congratulations I really like megalosaurus.  :)

Lufengosaurus 1/20 scale Resin Statue by Vitae

Actually, this is a finished statue but due to some accidents it fell from my shelf...twice... ???
Parts broken and scattered over the floor. I repaired and repainted it. Also I added details to the base(tree trunk, vines, leaves, etc.) and reposed the statue to look like it was stepping over the fallen tree.

Thank you very much Shonisaurus! Yes, this Megalosaurus is a resin kit. I really like the sculpts also :)

Diplocaulus 1/6 scale Resin Kit
Well, this is not a dinosaur but it's prehistoric. This kit is from a japanese sculptor. I'm not sure about his name. who has more information about this kit please feel free to share :)

What a cool Diplocaulus kit, avatar_earth108 @earth108 ! That Diplocaulus is great (where did you bought it? I would like to get one too), and you have painted it exceptionally well!
Congratulations!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

That resin diplocaulus is magnificent. It is one of my favorite prehistoric amphibians especially I like it because its tricorn is very curious.

I congratulate you for your excellent skills in painting you have been fabulous.

Welcome back avatar_earth108 @earth108.  You have been missed.  I'm so happy your treatments gave you a good result.

It's always a thrill to see more of your painting skills.  The Diplocaulus is stunning - and what a wonderful sculpt too, I love the little touch of the juvenile.  I know the original Lufengosaurus - I thought about buying it, as this is a dinosaur I would love to have in my collection.  (I visited the wonderful museum at Lufeng last year.)   But I didn't like the model enough.  Your version gives it new life.  I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

Georassic

Congratulations for completing your chemo with success. And for your beautiful figures.

Ikessauro

It's great to have you back! The important thing you are now well and cured! Congrats for winning this fight, it must not have been easy!

Your paint jobs look amazing, so realistic! Very lifelike colors and textures. I can't even tell the Lufengosaurus was ever broken, amazing job restoring it! Do you use airbrush or just conventional brushes?

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Bokisaurus

Welcome back and great to hear the good news about your health!
Wonderful finished models you got there!😃

Nimravus

Great to hear from you again, that is really good news! ;D
In addition to that, you are back with superb dioramas! My congratulations!

Duna

The important thing is you are well now ;) You have fantastic artistic skills, no doubt. The dioramas look superb. Congrats!

earth108

Thank you all for your kindness! :) Be healthy with my family is now my first priority :))
avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian  I wish I'd go visit great museums abroad too.
avatar_Ikessauro @Ikessauro  I used only conventional brushes. After my treatment, I decided to avoid spraying every solvents as much as possible. The only spraying process I used was a final matte or satin finish spraying to seal models.
avatar_Killekor @Killekor  For the Diplocaulus kit, I got it from my friend. I think that this kit and other 3 prehistoric amphibian kits are available at Yellow Submarine shop in Japan.

Here's my latest work. Shane Foulkes's Acrocanthosaurus 1/20 scale.

Love this kit. I added real fine sand and seaweeds/kelps to the base. It was also my first experience on making wave and foam on water environment.

Justin_

Are those glass eyes on the Acrocanthosaurus or did you paint them and add a glossy varnish?

Wow,  :o, that is a professional work, impressive result!

Shonisaurus

Shane Foulkes acrocanthosaurus has been great especially with those blue tones in part of his face and body. Blue is one of my favorite colors. Nice repainted diorama is very cool.

I am very happy that you are back in the forum with us that is the most important thing.

avatar_Justin_ @Justin_  I painted the eyes and coated with gloss varnish :)

avatar_Nimravus @Nimravus  Thank you so much!
avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus  I wished to add more environments on the base but it'd likely to take much more time so I had to drop the idea :)

Halichoeres

I am not sure how I missed this post, but I'm so glad to see you back on the forum showcasing your beautiful work. I'm also very happy to hear you've come through your illness.
