Hi All,

I'm Erwin from the Netherlands and now about 5 years active on this forum (mostly only reading though). But since I'm very proud of my own "palaeontology museum" I want it to share with all of you.

Started my collection about 6 years ago. I was blown by the quality and detail from REBOR's models and started collecting them.

By following this forum I also noticed the upcoming PNSO. Since 3-4 years I'm collecting PNSO too and my collection grew exponentially. Though I'm still collecting REBOR but only their "accurate" models.

Here it is standing in my living room. It's from IKEA and imo the most beautiful display furniture there is.

I'll review my collection from top to bottom

Mainly all dinosaurs on my top shelf are from PNSO nowadays. Also the Eofauna Triceratops spec. is present here. In the back the Rebor Oddities Skulls and a Favorite T.Rex skull.

Still a lot of REBOR diorama's on this shelf with their Deinonychus, acro, stego, ceratosaurus and egg displays. Also some PNSO and Eofauna in between. On the background the Berlin Archeopteryx from Vitae along with some (temporarily) posters from PNSO.

On my 4th shelf (the third I will review a bit later) some PNSO hadrosaurs, Carcharodontosaurus and Ankylosaurus. Alongside a Nanmu Apatosaurus and Eofauna Giganotosaurus.

The fifth (and todays final) shelf contains my current models I like the least. Some older REBOR models like the carno, Anky and Utahraptor. Also some PNSO with some off scaling (I prefer my entire collection to be around 1:35).

I'm currently planning adding some PNSO models from their museum line like the Iguanodon and Torosaurus, but since the prices are gone up extremely last year I'm not buying that much :-[

Let me know what you think about my collection. On short notice I will post and review my third shelf with some of my top models combined with my own fossil collection.

A well displayed collection.  I too have found that PNSO releases have led to a swiftly increasing collection!

Looks great Erwin, very nice collection you have. Beautiful display cabinet from Ikea too.
Have you thought about elevating those skulls on your first shelf? So they will stand a bit higher up and can be seen better?
It would "lift" that shelf to the next level. Pun intended.  ^-^

Actually I'm thinking about elevating the skulls since a month now  O:-). I'm looking for the right (acrylic) stand, but haven't found the right one yet.

And here my most special shelf

As I've always been a fan of dinosaurs it grew my interest in palaeontology. As a kid I went on holiday with my parents to the white cliffs of Normandy France. That's were I found my first fossils. Ever since I was addicted.
Although I studied something else (ecology) and cannot spend much time on it, I always stayed interested in finding fossils.
During my younger days I also bought some fossils like a Spinosaurus tooth, orthoceras, Mosasaurus teeth and shark teeth from Marocco (the yellow ones).
Almost all other fossils are my own finds and some of which I'm really proud of.

Left side: Alongside my fossils are some models from many manufacturers like the Cretoxyrhina from PNSO alongside my own found shark teeth, the rare REBOR Titanoboa, REBOR hatchling Meta, REBOR oddities Tylosaurus, REBOR dragonfly and PNSO Wilson hatchling. I really hope REBOR makes more "accurate" oddities in the future cause I really like their attention to detail.

Zooming in on my shark teeth collection. Since 2 years I'm occasionally searching beaches in the Antwerp area (NL/BE). The area is Europes most famous fossil shark graveyard.

Since I'm no expert I don't recognise all different species within my collection. But the large teeth are almost all Carcharodon hastalis, (probably) precursor of the great white. Also some mako, sand tiger and other species I own. Hoping to find some other teeth in the future though like six and seven gill shark teeth, bull shark and ultimately megalodon teeth. I'm planning to go to some paleo excursions in the near future so who knows...

Finally the right side: First my (bought) Spinosaurus tooth alongside the (off scale) PNSO spino. Next a PNSO micro raptor is present, which hopefully one day will be hanging on the ceiling of the shelf. Many different fossils from mainly France and Germany. Many different fossils like shells, fossilised wood, trilobite, mosasaur tooth and some more recent finds like coral and mammal vertebrates.

I hope you like my presentation of the fossils. It's not ment to have any logic in it whatsoever but it's just for visual display.

I hope to extend my collection with hopefully some smaller 1:35 models so my space doesn't run out too soon.
I'll update when anything major is added

Great collection - love the way you have mixed the fossils and the figures on the shelves. Good finds too by the way!

A very nice display space and a good selection of models! As a fish guy, I appreciate the assortment of shark teeth, too :)
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

A very nice display indeed!
I hope that Rebor will release more fossil-based Oddities in the future too.
