Small Hell Creek diorama (help needed)

Hi all,
I've just finished a small Hell Creek diorama. I'm not as good as others forum members at DIY, so I've just bought some artificial aquarium plants
Imho the result is quite aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not sure about the plants used...
Do you think it is completely wrong, out of the realm of possibilities, or at least passable?

I absolutely love this. I want to do this with my shelf and darn you have captured this perfectly.

There are some who would probably explain the type of plants in hell creek formation and just prehistoric plants in general. But overall it looks great and works well with your figures!

hey! here's a little tip of mine that was my secret until now LOL.
wanna reaaaally bring your diorama to life (quite literally)? add a couple of these! Asparagus fern (Asparagus setaceus) are a perfect miniature 'prehistoric plant' i love to use in terrariums and dioramas, as the fronds resemble ferns, and can be interpreted as a miniature version of a whole manner of ancient plants.

also they're sooo pretty.

Thank you! As @Reuben03 wrote, I guess you can find them or something similar online (aliexpress, amazon, ebay), but I bought them at a local aquarium shop.

I use mostly preserved mosses, and artificial succulents, and I have fake bonsai tree that has been in the background of several of my pictures.

That's a great little tableau, Ezikot! The artificial ferns look pretty good. I've looked in aquarium stores near me and never found anything that quite suited my tastes, but maybe I should have another look.

oh wow that's not happened to me as i didnt get to keep them for long because i moved, but they kinda look like magnolias in miniature haha

Thank you very much, @Halichoeres. I've also looked in a lot of aquarium stores, but this is the first time I've found something "good".
I'm also looking at trees and plants for model railroading. I like some of them (Noch's ones), but probably they are too small (the most common scales, from N to O, are in range between 1:48 - 1:160).
and, not joking, Ikea...
