avatar_Totoro @Totoro I found them on the Dream Capsule Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/dreamcapsul) so they're sold in their shop at least, but as far as I can tell they don't ship internationally. I don't know if they'll turn up on eBay but I imagine Brett can probably get them.

I think the skeletons were already shared, but in case anyone is interested there also appears to be a golden Anomalocaris, Trilobite, and ammonite shell within that Bandai set:

https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1427945.html

Not sure if these are 100% new, but came across them researching Takara Tomy stuff and looking for better quality images for the DTC site.

Tagging avatar_brettnj @brettnj just in case. The Anomalocaris obviously tickles my fancy.

Edit: Found some Chibi skeletons blind bag egg things that are releasing/released this month from Bandai as well:

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Faelrin

avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor No idea. I'll try to do some more research. I probably should have also mentioned that these come in these eggs that are essentially a bath soap that dissolves in water, and mentioned it was orange scented. No info about the material of the figures themselves.

Also stumbled upon these figures in my quest to do some catching up on the various Japanese figures out there. Also from Bandai. Seem to be some kind of lottery prize figures, or the like. Some other stuff like shot glasses, plates, etc, as well. Released in early July, tickets were 680 yen (tax included).

https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1334042.html

Quote・A prize: Tyrannosaurus big figure (1 type) about 24cm
・Prize B: Tyrannosaurus figure (1 type) about 8cm
・Prize C: Triceratops figure (1 type) about 8cm
・Prize D: Velociraptor figure (all 1 type) about 8 cm
・ Prize E: Stegosaurus figure (1 type) about 8 cm
・ Prize F: Brachiosaurus figure (1 type) about 14 cm
・ Prize G: Clear cup (5 types) about 10 cm
・ Prize H: Small plate ( 5 types in total) approx. 10cm
・ Prize I: Towel (8 types in total) approx. 25cm
・ Last One Prize: Tyrannosaurus Big Figure Last One ver. Approx. 24cm
・ Double Chance Campaign: Tyrannosaurus Big Soft Vinyl Figure Last One ver. Total 30
* The prize and package will be the same as the Last One Prize.

If anyone's interested in the other stuff, besides these figures I'd suggest checking the link I left above.

Lol at those chibi ones, good grief.

The smaller prize figures were released last year, but I think the big rexes are new: https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=9420.20
The skeleton set with the Anomalocaris "fossil" is mostly repeated from last year, too, but they swapped out Spinosaurus for Brachiosaurus.

Thanks for the updates!

So avatar_brettnj @brettnj shared in a recent message for those on his mailing list, about a new box set with what appears to be Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Kamuysaurus, Spinosaurus (post 2020 tail), Stegosaurus, Deinocheirus, and Amargasaurus. Not entirely sure the brand, but appears to have the word Access on the bottom. Looks like a neat little set though. Not sure how many folks here would be interested in this, but figured I'd share it here and get the word out just in case.

The brand is Access Toys; I have set of their beetles. They also have a set of coral reef animals and a set of Asian small-clawed otters. These are the first dinos I've seen by them.

B @bmathison1972 Oh thanks for that info. Any info on that coral reef set? Got me curious.

No, I saw it posted on the STS forum last year or the year before. Nothing it it really grabbed my attention so I didn't pay too much attention to it, sorry.

Edit: avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin - Actually, halichoeres' link above has that info :)

A couple other things that might appeal to those with offbeat tastes:

A set of cryptids in pensive poses includes this Nessie:

by Bandai

And a new set of Kabaya HoneHone figures with some real variety:

These are sort of like dino skeleton building toys; parts are interchangeable and you can combine them into monsters.
Set 1: Tyrannosaurus, Dimetrodon, Dimorphodon, Marrella, Callichimaera, Dunkleosteus
Set 2: Sharovipteryx, Thylacosmilus, Dromaeosaurus, "Hone Hone Barbarian," Eryon?, Mecochirus
Set 3: Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Sichuanobelus, Yunnanozoon, Menaspis, Nautilus, Mortoniceras, Plesiosaurus
Set 4: Acrocanthosaurus, "crocodile," Mosasaurus, Opabinia, Anomalocaris, "sea scorpion," "trilobite"

Lots of species I've never seen in plastic before, although this isn't necessarily the exact form I'd have wished for them to appear in...

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Thanks for sharing that link. Didn't think to check to see if they were on the toyanimalwiki first. That jellyfish set caught my eye, even if I typically don't collect extant animals.

Also huh, yeah agree those probably aren't the most ideal ways to get some of those species made, but possibly better then nothing though. Kind of a dull year for any Paleozoic representation so far (aside from CollectA's new Cooperoceras and the Mattel Lystrosaurus figures, rest is repaints or retools basically), so this is strangely noteworthy.

Yeah, for the Menaspis in particular, it's definitely better than nothing. It seems really unlikely someone else will make one.

Those 'Bandai' Figures look like the Desktop Models in the Life with Insect series by Bandai Spirits (an off-shoot of Bandai). They are advertised similarly being used as office décor. They are pretty nice sculpts, much like the insects :)

EDIT: HOLY COW! I hadn't scrolled up far enough to see the F-toys critters! I'll probably get one of each species.

Faelrin

B @bmathison1972 Yeah I think I'd like one of each of those Cambrian figures, but I might end going for the whole set if I can't decide. At least I have plenty of time to figure it out. While it would be nice to see some other Cambrian period animals, I'm a sucker for these, so glad to see them regardless.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin - any idea of the name of the set? If the translation app on my phone is correct, it's called The Cambrian Explosion? Thanks!

B @bmathison1972 From the above link, translated into English, it seems to have called the set "Movable Paleontology". I took the Japanese section from the original source link, into google and found this link:

https://www.toy-people.com/?p=74264

And the English translation here (from the original Chinese) calls it "Movable Ancient Creatures".

Which also has some more images of the set as well:

I forgot to mention this earlier, but I'm rather impressed that even the arms have articulation on the Anomalocaris. The Takara Tomy one didn't as far as I recall.
Edit: I also feel like the colors given to the Hallucigenia, are rather fitting with its name.

Thanks; I think I'll just get the straight-up Anomalocaris and Hallucigenia (not the Machine, Deep Sea, or Skeleton)
