No, not as far as I can tell. I'm guessing unpainted, though, because hand-painting 75 models is a significant amount of added labor.

Quote from: Flaffy on February 23, 2023, 07:03:42 PMHave they said whether the printed resin models will be painted or not?

I didn't see any indication either way, so I would assume not.

I pledged for the $35 level: art book, 3D files, and soundtrack. It looks like the Kickstarter is doing pretty well for just a couple of days in.

Flaffy

"A look at the 3D prints we're offering for the Kickstarter! Link is in thread, donate $70 to get your hands on either a Daeodon or Moropus, or $175 for any animal of your choice (including these if they get sold out)"

The figures are 3.5 inches long, making them ~1:33-35 scale based on a ~3m long Daeodon specimen.

Note: All 55 slots of the $70 tier for the Daeodon/Moropus resin prints are now sold out.

"Due to really high demand, we've put aside resources to increase the stock of 3D prints and 2D poster prints! If you missed your chance to get the reward, you can donate $50, $70, or $175 to our kickstarter to get your hands on one of these!"

+ 50 slots for the $50 "Physical Print" tier
+ 25 slots for the $70 "Moropus/Daeodon" tier
+ 5 slots for the $175 "Any Animal" tier

18 days left and almost 50% funded.

Over $40,000 raised now. New tier for both Daeodon and Moropus resin prints added:

Even though I'll always see the reign of mammals as the underwhelming sequel to the dinosaurs, this is shaping up to be a truly special undertaking by a lot of passionate and talented artists/storytellers. Plus, the fact that it's set in Nebraska helps  ;)

I'll definitely see about kicking something in. Might even spring for one of those 3D printed figures just to have a piece of this project on the shelves!

If I were a rich man with a thousand dollars to burn, I'd pay to see some Big Red, UNL, or Morill Hall easter egg in there!

Flaffy

Even TheGamingBeaver (a prominent dinosaur youtuber) has given a shout out to the campaign! 14 days left and over 60% funded, here's to hoping this gives the campaign the push it needs to reach 100%.

Gosh I am happy that it made it. I was worried there for a bit.

Terrific news! Here's to hoping more than episode gets funded in the time left.

Oh man, I forgot about these things.

Got my Daeodon in. Super impressed by the print quality! I believe this is my first 3D printed 1:35 scale scientific figure. I've always been a bit skeptical of these types of figures but this one has certainly convinced me that it might be worth picking up more of these from independent artists, at least for those hard to find critters. Now, to have it painted, or leave it as is?

Dusty Wren

Oh, wow, that is a really nice print! Beautiful detail and texture on it. Now I wish I had sprung for the tier where you got a physical print.

I lean toward leaving it unpainted. As is, it looks almost like a metal casting instead of plastic.

My two are very close! Probably have them tomorrow!

Carnoking

I regret not getting the Moropus now as well!
