I don't know if I should wait for another video...I guess 131 is more green than grey and 130 more red than yellow.
129 is not my fav right now.

Still a tough choice. The price is one thing; how much taxes do we have here in Germany which will came on top oft the 300-315 Dollar incl. shipping?
19%?  :o

And if you think about that release I think it's safe to say, that the Brachiosaurus/Giraffatitan will come sooner or later. So that's another whopper in dimensions and pricing....

Yes probably 20% taxes for Europe.
So between 360 and 380 dollars.

Thank you avatar_SenSx @SenSx ! I expected something like that ^^
I don't know yet if I will order it.

Before the release the genus interested me not that much. Of course the pure opertunity to get the probably biggest landanimal that ever existed is very tempting....ah man decision, decisions  O:-)

I don't know either if I will order it.
But I guess we have time now anyway, only the limited edition was actually really limited.

Quote from: Blade-of-the-Moon on October 10, 2024, 05:32:59 AMWell darn I didn't know it was THAT limited. That's the one I wanted.  I wonder if HLG will put some up on their Amazon page?

Which again would mean that people from Europe and many parts of the world are out.

Talked with Lana, they are ordering 20 more of the purple on that is up now on the site, I just ordered mine. :)

aaand those are sold-out. now EverythingDinosaur is probably the next opportunity to get 001/purple for those who want it

Yes, that's right, when you don't want the extra posters, cards and the Huayongosaurus. Personally I don't care about the extras very much.
What I have in mind is that the prices for their Alamosaurus and their Mamenchisaurus raised significantly after some time. So if the costs for the Argentino raises in few weeks or months, I guess it will be much more pricy than it is now.

Oh I did not check the price increase for Mamenchisaurus, got it before that...
I just don't want to rush the order of the Argentinosaurus if I'm not sure I want it just to get it at a better price  :'(

I am with you Bro!

Decisions made under pressure are not feeling good.

Maybe I will order it at everything dinosaur. Their infos of today are very helpful and bring a second chance.

The price increase was quite substantial. Alamosaurus went up from 89.99 USD to 119.99 USD. And Mamenchsaurus went up even more from 65.99 USD to 99.99 USD.

I was thinking the exact same, EverythingDinosaur from UK will probably not increase the price of their first stock.

Bit in all honestly I hate rushed impulsive orders.
I'd rather buy it with the increased price but be sure of myself, and do it at the right time, even if you would think I'm not smart to do that.

It's going to be hard to match this.

Torvo

PNSO will not be able to match this in terms of size any time soon, so they have to think about quality and where their strengths are. I would say that PNSO is unmatched when it comes to theropods and feathered dinosaurs. So the rumored Gigantoraptor would be a good move actually.

You are right.

It must feel right. For a Brachiosaurus/Giraffatitan I had already made an order. For that amount of money it just has to feel right.
Nothing is more worse as spending a lot of money, get it and realize in the moment of opening it, that it is not what you have expected. So it had been with my order of the Camarasaurus.
With low-priced items it's not that bad. But with something so pricey that you could buy 8 times the HLG Triceratops...you can fall really deep.

Maybe I stay with my recent buyed Argentinosaurus by Takara Tomy, despite it's flaws. I don't mind them with a price about ca. 800 Yen.  ;D  ;D  ;D

I'm gonna need them to stop with all these new photos and videos because it's really not making my decision any easier! 🙃

I agree that this gets confusing with all these pictures and videos in very variable light conditions. The green-gray limited edition (HLG-131) looks still very much like it appeared in the promotional images. The purple one looks very pale almost white in places (like areas on the neck and tail) now in some of these newer pictures, something that I initially thought could be the case for the brown (HLG-130) one. Now that one looks more saturated in color in the newer pictures actually. Making a choice between the brown and the purple would be very difficult. We really need static pictures from different angles in natural light.

The purple one is really my favorite, too bad it's the limited one  :'(
Don't knokw if Everything Dinosaur will have it in stock.

I've shot them a message to ask if it's possible to guarentee / reserve a model of 001. Or if it will be on a first come first serve basis. The blogpost unfortunately doesn't shed much light on the limited nature of this special edition.

Indeed. If the most recent pictures are what to go by, then the debate between the Brown vs Purple version starts all over again... Turns out the Brown version is much less pale as you said, which lends to a more cohesive presentation than the lightbox promo pics in harsh lighting.
