The latter had the better head sculpt, but was also slightly out of scale, and electronic, with the unappealing sound holes on the side. Less paint detail too.

Also just realized they put the face stripes too low on the TLW raptor in the above set. Should be a little bit higher. Gives it an almost mustache look.

The HC one was never accessible for me and it to be honest looks a bit goofy with the cartoon look

I thought about the epic attack one because it would go nice with my Hasbro female raptor, but I dont know, id rather have them in scale with the mainline

Oh and just a quick side note- I'm glad to see the ACTUAL JP3 logo again, not the T. rex version that they keep trying to replace it with all the time.

Flaffy

Feels like they're desperately trying to pawn off the excess Gigas and Theris they produced for the Dominion line.

Faelrin

Added the two new Legacy sets to the op. Gonna hold off the Chaos Theory set until we know more about it.

I also just noticed while zooming in on the pic for the raptor trilogy set (that was added on JPToys, which I use for the op), that the JPIII raptor does have pink/red on the tip of the tail, and on the top of the crest. It appears to have the blue around the eye as well. No idea if the pupil is the right shape or not yet though. Almost like the HC one in terms of paint, but the mold looks quite a bit different in some ways (particularly the head sculpt), so I don't think it's like a repack of it. Kind of glad they didn't skimp out on the paint for that one really.

But the Giga has a new body, one solid piece without that stupid action feature.

Eatmycar

It's a real-figure too it looks.

That said, it looks ridiculous and I love it. It's the Kenner dilo. But it looks like the Dorian Kinsley Giganotosaurus of childhood. I absolutely need it. I don't know why this set exists, or who it is intended for, but a big rubber green dinosaur? Sign me the hell up.

Theri exists, I guess that's nice.

The raptor set, if anything, is the real weird one. It's three Savage Strike figures it seems? I don't get the point of it. And where is the JP3 female raptor?

Gwangi

If the Giga is real-feel I might have to reconsider it.  :||

It is, it says so on the box. Real feel with a sound chip.

Well I'm glad that it is hidden in the corner so that I don't feel like a complete idiot.

Target is clearing out the old stock and I got the Styxosaurus for a few bucks cheaper than retail. I really like it. The skull is actually quite accurate.

I also was able to snag the Iani and Torvonuestes from a Walmart. The Iani is quite accurate though perhaps a little boring. Torvonuestes on the other hand is a little odd in the proportions department but I fell in love with it!

Blade-of-the-Moon

I'll have to wait to see the Giga/Theri set in person, curious what the accessory piece is?  I didn't jump on the new Real Feel Indominus either as it just doesn't feel..different enough? I guess.

I found one thing at Target today and wasn't locked.

Super Colossal Rex.  Love this thing and it's a beast too. :)

Dilopho

Well I just hope the giga set comes to the Uk.
We didn't get the Carnotaurus, the helicopter, the Indominus
We didn't get the JP93 line apart from the red rex and most Legacy Collection stuff is only now starting to appear and sparsely.

I don't understand why Mattel doesnt distribute all of its products to every country they distribute in

avatar_Blade-of-the-Moon @Blade-of-the-Moon  That looks AMAZING! I'd really like to see more pics of it.
It doesn't look as nicely proportioned as the smaller two, but the detail is what you buy this for and it delivers.
That head would look like a Stan Winston animatronic with some extra paint.

Here are a couple more. I'll try and get some outside as weather permits.  It's not too bad proportion wise, feet are always big on these, and the neck is big to swallow figures but it is VERY detailed. I'm debating removing a few teeth like  I did with the Allosaurus for a better appearence. There is one view when you look at it from the front of the snout that screams TLW male/buck Rex.

Dyscrasia

I also fortunately picked up that JWR SC T. rex early,

and when it comes to large JP/JW T. rex toys out there,

it is certainly one of the best looking.

Yeah, that is not like those things work.

Stuff like that has a long history. For Jurassic that goes back way to 1993 with Kenner. I remember argueing with a Kenner fanboy in another forum about that, with him claiming that was not the case, but yes, it was.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I wish there was a way to keep the mouth closed like this on the power devour rex,
I got these photos by shoving folded paper into the back of the head, but I don't want them to get lost inside the mechanism

It's seriously so cute, it's got that mix of ferocious and cute just like the Stan Winston animatronics and just like a hippopotamus.

I got my Hammond Collection Spinosaurus this morning!
I live in the UK, and we usually get these Hammond Collection figures either very late, or not at all. Most of the time I end up importing them from the US, but it seems Mattel is releasing this whole new wave of figures through Amazon for us in the UK.

It goes almost without saying but this is probably the best figure in the line so far. The previous best was probably the Giga. They're honestly just about as nice as each other. The Giga is perhaps slightly more posable and expressive, but the JP Spino design is 100x better than the JW Giga design, so Spino wins! XD

Finally, here is a photo of all the JP3 figures released in the line so far. Besides a gigantic (and unlikely?) green Brachiosaurus, the only major missing piece to this collection is a JP3 Pteranodon.

It's gorgeous but what, how did you get yours early already?
I'm in the UK too and I preordered the Stegosaurus but it says the estimated delivery on these is anywhere from June to December
