So . . . the repainted Plesiosaurus and Therizinosaurus are nowhere to be seen in the online catalog. I wonder what that's all about. Have they been pushed back to 2026 or did they never exist in the first place?

I like the colors on the Edmontosaurus. I may have to add a Papo figure to my collection.

I was going to write about this. I think the website leaked accidentally like the mosa was originally for 2022 and moved to 2023. This is likely the chase. I can see they will release these with new colours like they did with other dinos like para, stego and allo but with therizino and plesio. I even hoped a new plesio done by mr seo, the guy nailed with marine reptiles like mosa, krono and the sea dragon.

The new Plesiosaurus is definitely a repaint, it was confirmed elsewhere.  On the Animal Toy Forum it's been speculated that this catalog is incomplete.  I've only checked it out on Paleofiguras, so I don't know, but apparently some new modern animal figures are missing from it too.

Regarding Edmontosaurus's head crest, I think it's possible one gender of both species lacked it, like in extant junglefowl.

Okay, so I just noticed the page numbers of the Papo catalog and they do match being in a greater catalog that includes other brands, as was mentioned on the Animal Toy Forum.  So maybe it doesn't contain the complete range of available figures?  The Papo Apatosaurus and Archaeopteryx are missing from the catalog too, maybe they've been retired?

The Anhanguera looks really fantastic. I can't believe how great it looks, and it's rare to see a Papo Pterosaur in full flight.
That's surprisingly the standout of the bunch for me here,...!

All four of them look really amazing. The only thing I'm not liking very much is how the T. rex has one of its legs thrust out to the side, but whatever, it's Papo. They've always been pushing their poses to be as dynamic as possible while retaining balance.

It's great to see that Papo is back – maybe they've finally started listening to criticism. Not sure whether I'll get any of these though. The feathered T.rex and Edmontosaurus will be a miss for me. I already have the PNSO Yangchuanosaurus, but this one is indeed tempting... As for the Anhanguera, I'll wait and see how big it is before deciding.
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

I would caution people not to go too far in their praise of Papo just yet, not when all we have to go on are blurry catalog images,  two of them digital models at that. Better to wait and see what these toys look like in hand.

Remember the sucho was the same and look what awesome figure! But like you said, better to wait and see, when it th next toy fair? Maybe with this we could see how it looks.
BTW I notice the archaeopteryx is retired too...

The Sucho still isn't available for order yet?

I wouldn't put to much faith in this catalogue as it is NOT an official one from Papo themselves but a catalogue of another company or distributor of products. There are lots of items missing from this catalogue of established figures and rumored new releases both. I would wait until we get an official Papo one before wondering why models are absent/assuming they are retired.

Sim

Thanks for that avatar_Saarlooswolfhound @Saarlooswolfhound, I'm hoping good models like the feathered Velociraptor and Apatosaurus will be in Papo's new catalog.

Hopefully for 2025 we won't have to wait until early 2026 to actually be able to purchase these ones  ::)

Yes, if the recent past is a guide, that's a concern.

That Anhanguera is a definite buy. Almost nobody is making good pterosaurs because they're all stuck in the 1:35 rut. The Edmontosaurus is really nice too. Might be tempted by it if I see it in person.

I'm just glad that it will liberate some folks who were burdened with the eternal search for the WWD.
