So you will not be the only one smuggling dinosaurs then.

It's that damn custom limit forces me to smuggle , not high taxes. I can't order anything above 27 euros limit ( even including shipping price)

It's 60% plus for anything i can order to my country btw. (%30 from EU countries)

Quote from: Samrukia on January 27, 2025, 10:14:31 PMit took a week for my Brachiosaurus from Lana to arrive to my city, wow!
and they were saying March  ;)
Please, a picture?  ^-^

in a few days, it arrived to a post office today, should be delivered soon
i am in a different country now, so my parents will take few pictures :)

Did you bought it from directly Lana website or their Aliexpress Store? If Aliexpress there is a statement:
"Since the shipping time stipulated by AliExpress is limited, we will send you a small gift and mark your order as shipped first. When the Brachiosaurus is in stock, we'll send it by another tracking number ASAP."

I have also ordered Brachiosaurus right away on 7th, but it was shipped a day later on 22 January. This had the unfortunate effect that it did not get out of China before the New Year Holidays got into full swing and it is now stuck at Shanghai airport.

DinoAnatomy24 posted actually some more comparison pictures of Brachiosaurus. They are all way too bright, but nevertheless I think this is useful for the sake of comparison.

So it's 70 cm through centra & also 1.8 kg.  24.5 meters animal for 1:35 scale. Nice.

That mouth looks really weird, lips look kinda human.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Blew up like that, yeah it's really odd. But that's HUGE and not at all what the eye will see in person.

Flaffy

I really don't like how the keratinous beak was handled.

Blade-of-the-Moon

It could have been better, but it's what? a quarter of an inch? if that?

It is already clear from all the pictures and videos that have surfaced that I will send the Brachiosaurus to Dinosaur Models Artworks for some touchup work. Removing the teeth, filling these grooves between the rhamphotheca and the soft skin, improving the transition between soft skin and ramphotheca, smoothing out these grooves on the rhamphotheca and then fixing up the paint of the head.

It does, but it is done in a much less off-putting way.  I honestly don't know why all the companies still struggle with hiding sauropod teeth. They are so small you barely notice them, why not just give them some dang lips, lol.

Turkeysaurus

I don't know what's the consensus about sauropod lips.

There is a thread about 2017 sauropod beaks
