Every minute I find myself away from the PS3 the past couple days I gravitate back to this song.

Been on a bit of an iDOLM@STER binge lately and figured I'd put this here instead of games.

Headbanging is credible as long as you have got hair.  Otherwise it doesn't make much sense :))

R.I.P. Allan Holdsworth - the world has lost its greatest guitarist and hardly anybody around me realizes it :'(.

R.I.P. Chris Cornell - I'm a bit shocked and had to cry for a few minutes listening to Soundgarden's "Like Suicide".
Man, this makes me so f***in' sad ...

Never been a Soundgarden or Chris Cornell fan, but his death shocked me quite a bit.

Nope, with Armin Van Buuren Life just got better ;)
He is after all the best Trance DJ in the world and has been nominated that for almost 10 times, better than all that top 40 garbage I seen coming around.

If this isn't your music style, oh well each to their own for that part :P
Ragg'n'Bone Man is nice as well, even the style of music is completely different :)

I have a few anime songs I like too. This one is rather mysterious sounding.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Pink Floyd, Talk Talk, Roxy Music are some of the more interesting bands I think about when talking about what I like best in contemporary music. I also love (orchestral) motion picture soundtracks, like Blade Runner, Lawrence of Arabia, Jurassic Park & The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Star Trek: The Motion Picture (possibly my favorite soundtrack of all time), Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan etc. My latest fascination was with the soundtrack for the film Arrival - nicely weird, experimental and atmospheric. I also love all kinds of serious (or 'classical') music, from Middle Ages and Renaissance to Mahler, and from Bach to Pärt. So incredibly many kinds of incredibly beautiful music.
