I do like "Knights In White Satin". Rock Goddess does a cover of it.

This is a track by my favorite band.

:(  It's too bad the Moody Blues never made the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame!

Malid, I just noticed your little Ian Malcolm quote thing there... Love the fact that you changed it to first person - makes it funny for some reason.

Anyway, maybe you'll like this classic from 1980...

Thanks Metallisuchus,

Glad you like the Malcolm redo. I wanted to also include "I stood on the backs of geniuses", but it was too long I thought.

Here is a good sample of the type of metal I love...

I can't get the embed to work. Anyone know what's wrong? I copied and pasted the code from youtube.

Malidicus, I've modified your post for you to include the video. For some reason, there was a dot in the last 'youtube' of the full URL, which must have prevented it from showing up. I tried removing it and it works, thankfully.  :)

Metallisuchus

Ah yeah, power metal. I like some of that stuff, but I'm more into the traditional side of metal, rather than the Helloween-influenced bands. You'd probably like Seven Witches. Ironically, they have a song called "Atlantis" too.

The beginning of the song you posted reminds me of something on "Fear Of The Dark" a bit. Great intro.

They didn't!?

That sucks! >:(
I went to their concert in April and loved it. If that's not hall of fame worthy what is?

Can you believe it ABBA made it in but not Bad Company, Chicago, Electric Light Orchestra, Foreigner, Hall & Oates, Heart, Journey, Kiss, Rush, or T-Rex!

Well, ELO should definitely be in there used to love them ... the other groups up there ... not so much  (especially Hall and Oates - I hated their music  >:D

So ... I'm sorry, Stoneage, but ... (drumroll) 'I can't go for that' ....    ;D

Metallisuchus

Deep Purple gets my vote, as well as Blue Oyster Cult, but there are plenty of deserving bands who should've been at the very least - seriously considered for induction.

If any of you are familiar with rock journalist Eddie Trunk, his passionate hatred of the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame is legendarily, and his rants are hilarious.

T-Rex, now that's a good name ; )

Malidicus

Eddie Trunk really does get passionate on That Metal Show doesn't he? hehe

Simon, If you like Xenozoic Tales, check out my comic collection;

Yes, or the music thread.  I think i'll merge this topic with 'music' (although that's a publicly open, whereas the youtube thread is members only.)

EDIT - topic merged
