- A new ornithomimid, almost looking like a therizinosaur has been found in the Cerro del Pueblo Formation (Coahuila) in Mexico; Mexidracon longimanus.
- It was found in a 73 million years old fossil bed that was once an estuary environment filled with oysters and mollusks. It means that Mexidracon's habitat was a coastal one and its diet would have been likely aquatic-based.

- It was about 3 meters long.

That's interesting. Luckily the metatarsals and metacarpals were found articulated in little bundles. That certainly makes interpretation easier.

I think the description is paywalled (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cretres.2025.106087) but I have the pdf if anyone wants it.
