The seller does have the normal sized T. rex up for sale too:

And a Dippy for that matter:

I'm tempted to go for the Battat Diplodocus myself ;)

I don't know. It all depends on how much people are actually willing to pay for them.

Only one left...I bought the other.  ;D
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I'm pretty frustrated that there are some kits that I want badly, but have been discontinued now. Back when they were available, I wasn't a collector...

But hey, you shouldn't need any excuse to buy resin dinos, they're awesome as it is >:D

Why's that figure just so expensive?I know it's rare, but I still like CollectA's better sincerely.

You just answered your own question, it's expensive because it's rare. It is also a beautiful piece of artwork and large too at 1:40 in scale.

It is a nice figure. I always get a chuckle out of watching the Battat Dippy auctions - the prices are well beyond what I am able to pay. maybe in an alternate dimension I have one...  ;)  Yah, that's what I'm going with...   ;)

Same here. I want one, and the Tyrannosaurus too but not that badly. And the mini Tyrannosaurus....just forget it.

DinoToyForum

KAIYODO 7 1/2" LARGE COELACANTH RESIN MODEL
That's been up there for months...no one's buying it because of the insane asking price.

It is rather steep. I didn't think to look at the price before posting it, I just thought, "ooh, that's nice".  ;D

Blade-of-the-Moon

The same fellow had many pieces before..all pretty high priced.
