Nope, it is related though.

Yutyrannus

Nope, it isn't very closely related to living elephants.

No to Deinotherium, but it is a mastodon. But which species >:D?

"The world's still the same. There's just less in it."

Balaur

The one with the tusks. ;D

Um, I only know one species of mastodon, and that is the American Mastodon. Is that the answer?

Yutyrannus

No, think very long tusks ;).

Balaur

Stegodon, or Stegomastodon?

Yutyrannus

No, hint: it is a species of Mammut and has the longest tusks of any known proboscidian.

Balaur

Ugh. I know dinosaurs, not mammals!

And the only species of Mammut I know is Mammut americanus. :(

Yutyrannus

Alright, it is Mammut borsoni :).

Balaur

Oh, that's a name I use in everyday vernacular, things. ;D

Sticking on the subjects of mammals:
I am a synapsid
I have sabreteeth
I am mistaken as something I'm not.

Balaur

No. Now, mind you, Synapsids includes mammals, so don't just think about non-mammalian synapsids (like pelycosaurs), think about all mammals and their relative. That's my hint. :)

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
