...though I still dunno if should I get the Suchomimus before than the Pachyrhino...  ???
I guess there are members who already have these figures so his/her opinion would pretty much be useful  ::)
Thanks in advance  ;)

To me the Pachyrhinosaurus is the top figure of the three :).

It's been a Pachyrhinosaurus parade! First the new JP one, then  WWD 3d, and now this!  :)
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

It's interesting to see which dinosaurs gain greater public notoriety. We all grew up with the staple dinosaurs like Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus but then along comes "Jurassic Park" and now we have Velociraptor and more recently, for some reason, Pachyrhinosaurus seems to be becoming quite popular.

I've mentioned elsewhere, but up until last week, the Papo pachyrhino was my favorite toy dino of all time. Until I got to see the WS one in person. Hands down blows the Papo away. The detail, and accuracy, but also the pose. THIS as far as I have seen is THE figure to get. At least so far. Even the above pic does not do it justice. And, since I got it at the hobby shop here in town, I paid less than 11 dollars including tax. Just can't beat that.

**really though, GO GET this figure....

It is actually my most anticipated WS figure, and it does look like the definitive Pachyrhinosaurus in the market (I'm also a huge Papo fan). I'm obsessed with Pachyrhinosaurus, ever since I realized that I will probably never be able to own the grossly inaccurate Tyco version...and thus, I was ecstatic when Papo made a superior (vastly superior to Tyco) pachyrhino and sold it for about $10....and the WS version is better than that  ;D ;D....now if only Papo or WS can deliver a Chasmosaurus (another DR toy that is well out of my reach)...the closest thing out there to a Chasmosaurus is the WS Vagaceratops.

It's very interesting observing what Dinosaurs are becoming popular...Liopleurodon and Therizinosaurus have also been gaining quite a bit of exposure over the years.

In my opinion, the Pachyrhinosaurus is Wild Safari's top ceratopsian. This is the new standard by which all future ceratopsian figures will be judged by.

Gwangi

I agree with everything being said about that Pachyrhinosaurus, so I guess I really need to go get one! I'm glad to see this ceratopsian get so much attention lately, it has been among my favorite ceratopsians for a long time. Hopefully Einiosaurus gets some time in the spot light too, that's another favorite of mine but I cannot think of a single toy made of one yet.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I'm sure we'll have a another ceratopsian toy this December if they release everything again like last/this year.

So,I told my dad please to ask a question to Safari via FB.That's what they answered:

Does this mean Carnegie has plans for just introducing a new figure per year?(*No please!!!  :-\ )

tyrantqueen

Here's their response:

QuoteThanks for your interest Juan. The development of each of these figures of the Carnegie is a complicated and exacting process. We decided to debut the new introduction on time in the beginning of each new year rather than mid year or later. Through the years we mostly introduced one new figure each year due to the complexity of the reviews by the paleontologists. We attempted to do two new ones but it was too difficult to do in a timely manner. In the future, we could review again this possibility. Again thank you for your interest in this collection of unique and scientifically accurate dinosaurs.

In other words, they said they stopped doing it because it was too hard to make the toys on time, but they are thinking about trying again.

P.S. Is your dad's name Juan also?

It's a little disappointing,especially in these sort of cases.This year,I think there's absolutely no mistery what the 2015 Carnegie dino will be.If it's feathered,it's a dinosaur (Archaeopteryx was a bird) ,it's a resculpt,it's very popular and it's in demand,it has to be a Velociraptor!
So now we have to spend (9/10 months) waiting for the Velociraptor pic to come out.Very agonising and it's a pity,I'm saying this on January. If it was August now, that's fine, but we gotta wait a lot indeed.
And I'm not afraid of saying Carnegie 2015 Velociraptor it's sure for me...but if it doesn't happen...then kill me  ;D
P.S.Yes,it is  :)

Never say never for sure ever..errr...delays, cancellations, any number of things could interfere with the sureness of your , errr...confidence. And, haven;t Carnegie been doing only one figure a year for a bit now?

Both are good figures, but needs some help in the color department :P
Here is the beautiful Pachyrhinosaurus ( with it's predecessors, too  :)))

Monolophosaurus - overall better quality control than the Sucho, but once again, really drab colors ???

Who has better dental benefits?  ^-^

The trio

Bokisaurus
