Wait a minute. "Helped"? Past tense? Which one did you draw and when will you post it ;D?

Ooops! Mis typed! I meant to say "that'll help me a lot" but I mistyped. Sorry to generate excitment for something I've'nt drawn yet!

Yutyrannus

Oh, well I still can't wait to see more pictures :)

Is the cave lion episode supposed to be sort of an extended version of the scene in Ice Age Giants? Also, when are you going to post the Barbourofelis, Megantereon, and Cave Lion for your series?

Balaur

Yes. My cave lion episode was inspired by the scene in Ice Age Giants, and will include the fight between the cave bear and cave lion.

I just finished drawing Barboroufelis (used a female Asiatic Lion as a reference) and need help with inspiration of colours and patterns. I will be working on my Megantereon next and the Cave Lion after that.

Cool! I loved that scene!

Also, you should use the Ice Age Giants cave lion as reference for yours. Normally I'd use a live cat but the Ice Age Giants animation and models are so realistic that it is just as good. And for the Barbourofelis I suggest a pattern similar to clouded leopards :).

Yutyrannus

For Barbourofelis maybe you could do either a pattern (though not color) akin to clouded leopards and sort of a dark brown coloration with the splotches being lighter brown. I think this would be quite awesome :)!

Balaur

Yep!

I have finished by Ambulocetus and Kutchicetus. I have to say something about them.

My Ambulocetus is super fuzzy. Gone are the days of the shrink wrapped hairless mammalian crocodile. This thing is not shrink wrapped, is super fuzzy, and super adorable! I based its colouring slightly on sea otters.

My Kutchicetus is also very fuzzy and adorable looking, with a beginning of a fluke on the tip of its tail, and with a black/brown fur covering.

Also, my Pakicetus on Deviantart will be the Pakicetus for this series.

Thanks! I have decided to cut the Anthropornis episode, and I now can replace it with another Miocene episode, about life on the shoreline of Oregon. It features the strange aquatic bear, Koplonomos newportensis. :)

Thanks!

Alas, my dear Cave Bear episode has been cancelled.

I wanted to have a place where I had no environments depicted in Walking with Beasts. However, don't worry. I do have a spin-off planned for this series about the Ice Age around the world. So this episode will happen, just not for the Age of Mammals main series.

Also, that allows me to find even more interesting fauna from the Ice Age. Pleistocene has some weird &ss animals, so except something like that soon.

Balaur

By the way the title for the Kolponomos newportensis episode, Nie Więcej Ziemi, is Polish for No More Land.

Yutyrannus

It sucks that you cut out the cave bear episode, it was one of the best ones :(. But at least it will still be in a special.

You know what, I'll keep the Cave Bear episode, and use the replacement episode in the special. I think that works out better. :) To make matters even happier, I have my Kutchicetus below. ;)

Kutchicetus

Also, creature profiles
Proailurus - They are mostly nocturnal creatures that live in trees. They are incredibley agile and fast, and this allows them to hunt birds such as Eogrus. They rarely drop down onto the ground, only to drink or if they are desperate to hunt something. They don't usually compete for food, but occasionally a Eusmilus will arrive and attempt to force them out of there tree.

Yutyrannus

This guy is awesome! I can't wait to see the Ambulocetus :)!

Thanks! I am going to post my Ambulocetus soon.
